Too much good stuff
As has Cornell
Cornell is for real. That is a talented senior-heavy team. Kentucky will have their hands full.
As has Cornell
You mean the 2nd quarter of the conference. Bottom half (i.e teams 9-16) really stunk.
And yes, overrated. When the conference gets the seeds it did, it is overrated.
Why should we care in College B-ball really, it all eventually gets fleshed out on the court as it should be. It's not like college football where having a phantom power conference really can make a difference.
But obviously it does - gave the Big East more teams (and thus more money) than they deserved, and higher seeding than they deserved.
Travesty that a good team like UNI gets a 9 seed, while crap teams like Notre Lame get an undeserved 6 seed.
Syracuse goes down to Butler...
Over-rated!!!! Over-rated!!!

To be fair, Syracuse was playing w/o one of their top players.
But let me ask you this. Is your complaint that the Big east had too many teams in the tourney or that they were seated too high? I might agree on some of the seeds (except WVU got shafted with a #2 seed in the East-should have been a #1) but this is the same conference that had 3 of the final 4 teams last year, had the best OOC record of all the major conferences this year, won 4 of the most well respected pre season tourneys, and had 4 teams in the top 10 for strength of schedule.
When WVU beats Kentucky and then wins it all will you still call the conference overrated?
Both. Too many teams, and over seeded, especially Villanova, G'town and Notre Dame - did the pope do the seeding?
Who would you have put WVU at #1 over?
Duke. Stats (rpi, strength of schedule, etc) bear out that WVU should have been a #1 seed over Duke and if they were to be put in as a two seed it should have been in the south region.
BE in the Final Four! WVU beats a team of future NBA stars. F%^K Kentucky!!!
Congrats on the final four - loved seeing Cheatin' Cali go down.
Unfortunately, Huggins made it. That game was a lose-lose.
