So I'm watching an episode while my wife is working on her thesis; she doesn't like these types of shows. She comes in and starts watching for a minute and says oh look an octopus has that guy by the throat! I couldn't bring myself to tell her what it really was. after that scene I could definitely see them doing a spinoff.

I didn't really get into it in the first episode of S2, but we binged and caught up and we're back in 100%.
I just finished the finale for season 2 and quite enjoyed it. Looking forward to where they go more than after the season 1 finale as far as where the story is at but not quite as hooked on the show as I was for the last year. The delayed release schedule helped kill that excitement but I can live with it.
I'm planning on binging the whole season during an upcoming weekend to see if my feelings change at all but I'd give season 2 a 4 out of 5 rating compared to 4.5 out of 5 for season 1. I know that doesn't seem like much of a difference and overall I guess it wasn't but I just couldn't stay as hyped.

I thought the season 2 finale was terrific. Gave enough of a turn to keep it fresh.

I thought season 2 was pretty darn entertaining. It wasn't season 1, but nothing was going to match that.
Loved the finale. It's going to be a loooong off-season, though. 
Binged season 2 last weekend, still don't know if I even like it.

I just binged S1 and S2 over the past 2 weeks. Was it just me or did Episode 2 of S2 really feel like the finale to S1. This season had some moments where I was questioning the storytelling. The finale saved it for me. Curious how S3 will play out. One of these main characters is going to have to die at some point.

S2 was really down for me. Mainly due to the writing. It felt inconsistent. They repeated the same scenes a bunch, issues were forgotten about, the sups powers started to became inconsistent, etc. It's like they did a rough sketch of the overall story arc but then wrote each scene isolated without an overall set of world rules. They really need to tighten things up for S3.

Yep, I really enjoyed the finale. The rest, not so much.
Too much gratuitous violence for an older dude like me. Violence for the sake of violence is not entertaining for me. Of course, my generation is probably different than most of those watching this.
Listening to Amazon Music at work, and realized I'll never hear this song and not think about the car ride during Season 2 of The Boys. LOL
