VJ does make some odd calls at times and the defense isn’t the second coming of the 85 bears but with the exception of game one have played good each week for the most part. This is all on the offense
Well, the D set a record for historically bad starts in the first 3 weeks. The D has been unforgivably bad as well as way better than it has any right being.

The young defensive talent is coming together and we have a nice core in place for future years. Some replacement level veterans on the DL to replace Fotu and others is all that's absolutely needed.

The offense is pieced together with duct tape. Aging, injury prone veterans everywhere. We need a total rebuild on that side of the ball with multiple drafts dedicated to OL and TALL OUTSIDE wide receivers. The ghost of AJ Green should not be on the field. Beacham, Pugh, and Hudson are beyond washed. Ertz is slower than molasses. Rebuild it.

If anyone has any Cards offensive players on a fantasy football team - they are an absolute idiot. Especially our weak QB.

They have done a good job limiting big plays and forcing field goals instead of touchdowns. But they also don't get many turnovers (Dennis Gardeck is tied for the team lead in interceptions) and they haven't been able to get to the QB in 5 of 6 games.

They are probably playing above their talent level, but I'm still not overly impressed.

He's the 5th highest scoring fantasy QB coming into this week and 13th highest overall fantasy scorer. Hollywood has been a top 5 WR. Interesting take.

Any generic NFL scheme with an under center run game, play action, and roll outs would be an immediate upgrade. Kliff has changed absolutely nothing about his offense since week 1 of 2019
I think it is funny you believe Kyler would be ok with some random trying to tell him to play differently.

I think it's funny you think you have any idea what Kyler thinks.

I'm sure he would be super pissed to have a coach who makes the game easier for him and doesn't hang him out to dry as a shotgun pocket passer behind a God awful O Line.

I mean, the D had some sucky play and often couldn't tackle to save its life, but I'm not going to criticize the D for this loss. Despite lapses, the D did a phenomenal job. This one's squarely on the O. Or should I say o.
Yes but the only thing that really matters is points given up and the defense did enough to win the game if the incompetent Kliff and Kyler show has been able to do anything.

Kyler sucks. Kliff sucks. Keim should be kicked in the stones

This is so naive. The Cardinals are running the exact offense Kyler wants to run. He has run it his entire career as a QB. If he wanted to do something different, we would be doing it. He doesn't because he doesn't think he or it is the problem.

This has to be putting Keim and Michael Bidwill into the proverbial corner, concerning this team's performance and HC, they cannot use Vance Joseph as a scapegoat, though if one did not know better, they did their best to set him up to fail and he is having none of that... Vance no matter how ridiculous some of his coverage schemes can be disguising a blitz, is holding his own to afford the offense the opportunity to win most games

Since game #1, the CARDS 'D' has given up 19.6 points per game.

Even Chopper, if he wasn't so vested in knocking our DC, could offer a word of respect.

'Crickets' ;)

This is a funny callout.

I don't like Vance's scheme. That hasn't and will not change unless he changes his scheme.

I don't like how Vance uses young players. This hasn't and will not change until Vance changes.

I have said if Vance is my DC, I wouldn't invest large money in many defensive players until I saw how he was going to use them.

I have also said I don't believe you can ever give Vance enough talent to produce a top defense. He hasn't his entire career and so why would he do so now.

So, I feel like I have said this on pretty much every Vance thread. He is not creative. His blitzes are vanilla. He does not adjust to his players. He would rather sacrifice talent for athleticism. His scheme is overly complex. Nothing done this year disproves those complaints.

What's funny, or should I say sad, is that you're so vested in your from-the-couch opinions that you can't recognize the excellent work that has been done over the past five games: 19.6 points per game.

Here's betting you'll have a ton to say if we give up 30+ at some point.

This is from a post of mine in January describing Vance.

Where is the hate in this? I can see you are doing the thing where you just attack posters instead of providing a legit basis for your argument. Where is Vance doing anything that disproves my description of him as being "a kinda average DC"? PPG? No. Sacks? No. Interceptions? No. Yards per game? No.

I guess you would consider it an attack when one suggests that a thumbs-up for Vance's work over the past five games may be in order from his #1 critic, but I don't.

Why would I give a thumbs up when someone is performing at the level I previously said they were at.

about average coach providing about average results. Not sure why it needs mention, especially over a short sample size in relation to his overall career portfolio.

Fotu needs to get benched.

Literally the only young defensive player I have yet to see do ANYTHING this season & most of last season.

Lawrence, Myjai, Allen, Cameron, Luketa, etc, I’ve seen something from them. Fotu though? Jesus Christ.
Weak and slow isn’t a combo for pro athletic success?
