Some of those guys (Prior, Wood) experienced an injury riddled career.

I wonder if the use is the cause or the use is a result?

I would say result, to try and heal faster.

I was really hoping Pujols wouldn't be on the list, I want just one of the better players of the current era to be legit.

Do we need multiple threads on this?

Without Canseco's book none of this would have come to light. In a weird way, I think he deserves to be apologized to and given credit for stepping forward. He was bashed repeatedly when he released the book, but look at what has come of it. He rocked the baseball world.

Yeah, since Jose did it out of the kindness of his own heart. What a human being.

This all would've come out regardless of Canseco considering Bonds and Giambi were in court testifying about their own steroid use for the Balco thing two years before Canseco's book was even released. Sheffield came out in ESPN the Mag and said Bonds had given him the cream and clear before Canseco's book released. Reporters talked of McGwire's Andro use in the late '90s. The Ken Caminiti thing came out in 2002. George W. and McCain took this issue in front of Congress and the national media in early 2004. The steroid thing was already put there and ready to come to a head long before 'Juiced' was released, Jose was just the first to rat everybody out which he did for the welfare of his own dwindling bank account. He's not some trail blazer or icon.

Daryl Kile is an interesting name. Hopefully, this wasn't related to his passing.

I'm shocked that Gonzo isn't on that list.

I've gone through the report, and a lot of names on the "leaked" list are not in the report. Where did the list come from? I doubt it's veracity.

Wow you checked over 300 pages already? I started and I just got overwhelmed and gave up. Figured I'd wait for ESPN to do it for me.

There is a live blog at www.deadspin.com that I read as I thumbed through the report.

An ASFN mod should remove that incorrect list.

Alex Cabrera page 94. He only hit homers and struck out. That guy was rediculous. He's not on "the list." I nominate Gee to read the whole report and to compile a new list.
