Looks like they changed the show up a bit in the new year.. Noah now has an intro before the theme starts and now stands during the opening jokes.

What do people think of Trevor?

After watching him since the start he is getting better. However, he wasn't the networks first choice. They offered the job to multiple people before Trevor. Trevor feels like an adequate replacement but that's it.

There are times he nails it and other times his timing is off or he can't deliver a joke very well. It's hard following John Stewart. Period.

MESA! :thud:
I've watched 'em all with Trevor Noah and I think he's doing a great job. I think he's a great replacement...and I agree, Jon's shoes were mighty big to fill.

I watched a couple of shows with Trevor and it's not that he's bad, but he's just not Jon. I haven't watched since the first week with Noah.

Yeah...how do you follow that guy? His timing on delivering jokes was impeccable and he wasn't your run of the mill comedian. The guy was brilliant.

To be fair, the early days of Jon Stewart weren't all that great either. I do agree that he isn't Jon, but he isn't doing that badly. I'd say he is performing about as expected.

No doubt but Trevor is more of a run of the mill comedian IMO. Even before Jon Stewart did the Daily Show...I thought he was brilliant.
