My most anticipated movie in a while. Will see this opening weekend whenever it comes out.

As mentioned in the I am Legend thread.

There was a trailer for it there. I was completely stoked.

If forget, does Morgan Freeman's character know that Wayne is Batman?

I'm glad I reserved judgement on Ledger as the Joker. He looks like he's doing it justice and not trying to rehash Nicholson's joker.

I don't know that I've ever been more excited for a movie release.

Harvey Dent is the Backbone of Dark Knight

Source: Los Angeles Times
January 15, 2008

The Los Angeles Times talked to The Dark Knight director Christopher Nolan, who says that "Harvey Dent (Aaron Eckhart) is a tragic figure, and his story is the backbone of this film."

The Batman Begins helmer also mentioned that The Joker, played by Heather Ledger, "sort of cuts through the film -- he's got no story arc, he's just a force of nature tearing through. Heath has given an amazing performance in the role, it's really extraordinary."

He added that you shouldn't expect a lot of laughs. "It's a dark and complex story and the villains are dark and complex as well."

The Dark Knight opens in theaters on July 18.

Pretty sure that I won't see another movie in the theatres until this one.

well, that makes me sad.

Show me something that is worth the $40+ bucks that we spent the last time we went to the movies? Granted, I liked I am Legend.

The only movie that is even close is Cloverfield.

There is a reason I try to replicate the theatre experience at home. It is because of the damn prices.

Wow, that is a ton of $ to spend at the movies.

I can see three movies in a theatre in one day for less than that. :)

Are you a theatre hopper?

I can't go to the movies without snacks, and I'm not the type to smuggle them in.

Snuggling in a dark theater with you is worth WAY more than $40 bucks. Anytime.

And yes, I know we can do that at home. I like going to movies with you.
