I recently watched this. Not really what I was expecting. I guess I was expecting more of a documentary style, like Jackass. I thought the story was really stupid and it just sucked out any humor that was actually in the movie.

It's pretty ironic that this was Chris Penn's last movie.

I've been teetering on whether or not to rent this one. I love reading about the Darwin Awards but something about the movie's description wasn't doing it for me. Thanks for the head's up!

Too bad many of the Darwin Awards (or Darwinies) are based on urban myth. I think in the early 90s there was a Darwin Awards page based on real stories, but they evolved through spam mail etc. to become almost completely fabricated.

The story of the guy who put a rocket on the back of his car in the Arizona desert is entirely fiction. Not a shred of truth.

You are correct...... but it's still one of the funniest stories I've ever heard. I laughed for 3 weeks over that one.

Winona Ryder..... A really beautiful, sexy gal who pissed away a helluva career in acting. Too bad.

That was one of the few funny parts of the movie. David Arquette played that guy and was flippin hilarious.
