It proved that the doubt that has surrounded this team's good record is justified. It is hard to go looking for respect, and to tout this team as a contender when they play like that on a national stage. The Cardinals played right into what everyone is saying about them, and are grouped with the Lions, and Seahawks with yesterdays' Turkey Day massacres.
After the Jets game, it was stated that the Cardinals are as good as they looked against the Dolphins and Cowboys, and are as bad as they looked against the Jets.
Couple that with the fact that is is hard to prove that the Cardinals are a "good team" when every time they are on the national stage this year they choke, or turn in a sub-average performance.
After last night I am off my high horse and back to where I was as a fan of this team during week 5.
This team will still have 9 to 10 wins, and make the playoffs. Which is good. But what happens during the playoffs is another story. We could get slaughtered like last night, or we can bring our A-game and win a close one.
Thank goodness the Cardinals and its fans have 10 days till the next game, because this was an embarrassing loss for all involved. Come back, MURDER the Rams. Take the division and work harder as a team to get better as a team. Cause right now this kind of effort is not going to cut it.
Time to change the avatar....that is for sure.
Oh, and I hope everyone had a good Thanksgiving, and that PACardsfans ultimate sled team is OK.
Edit: It also proved another thing......some people only stop by ASFN when things are bad. There are people I have not seen a post from in a month that are all over this board with complaints. Kinda funny.
