The end of Rauch is near (rumor)

My buddy who gave me a heads up on Melvin's demise has said Rauch's days are numbered and could be done in the next 48 hours.

I don't know if I really want to believe this but apparently the D'backs are scouting Keith Foulke (which apprently HE has more interest then the Dbacks) and Aaron Fultz who are both playing on some independent league team. After the terrible bullpen performance the past week, anything could be better. I'm not a fan of Gutierrez at all...

I think the team needs some veterans, but they might want some guys who have something to offer the club

Anyway, this is what I hear

He pitched pretty well in his inning of work last night. I'm willing to give him 1 more chance and see how that goes to see if he'll get yet another. I still stand by my comment about something needing to be done tho.

The FSN coverage tonight doing the "Behind the Scenes" thing is incredibly annoying and about to drive me insane.

Rauch is terrible but he isn't any worse than the rest of the pen. As much as I'd like to see him go I wouldn't do it until I found a couple of arms that can do better.

I remember when we traded Bonafacio for him. We thought we were getting a closer who can convert easily to a set up role for Lyon, because Qualls was struggling at the time.

What's the deal with Foulke? He was a great picher until things went south on him. Is he worth bring up and giving him a chance just to see what he has left?
