Been a Cardinal fan since they had been in St.Louis and I remember Cowboy fans cracking on me since I was ten here in Texas. Grahmn, Brown...hell with it, I choose not to recall all the crappy QBs. Anderson has a faint odor but does not stink like they did. I hope this defense can come together, the restructured OL finally gels and that a running game will allow us to win this out of sync division. GO CARDINALS, and to hell with everyone! :)

Agreed. People act as if this team is a dynasty under Ken.

Exactly. These homers need to come back and talk smack to us darksiders when the Cards have won 12 games or more for 6 years in a row or won a Super Bowl or at a minimum can go at least one game against somebody besides the Rams without giving up 38 or more points.

We're only 28-21 the last three seasons and just lost 41-7 last Sunday. You Pollyannas act like the Cards have won the last 3 Super Bowls.

That's a .570 winning percentage...name the last Cardinal HC with at least a .500 winning percentage...Don Coryell 30 years ago (not counting Larry Wilsons 3 games).

Name the last Cardinal HC to take the team to the Super Bowl...

Let's not mince words here...this was one of the worst franchises in sports history and he has made them respectable, competitive, and successful.

Kurt Warner was blasted for 2 years on this board...it's laughable.

This board melted down last year during the pre-season and after we started 1-2....we ended up 10-6 and won a playoff game.

Coach Whis has earned the benefit of the doubt...period.

Lame thread! We as fans have the right to question dumb decisions by the hc no matter what you think of it O! Doesn't mean were bandwagon fans get over yourself!

Just like we get to judge the fans who decide to post crap for 3 days straight.

Damn right you have the right to complain, and be a fan how ever you wish.

But that doesn't make you or anyone else free from criticism for posting over-dramatic, low-class, nonsense.

Whatever. That is your plight.

But being completely negative and over the top negative without any real logic behind it just makes it boy cries wolf eventually.

What is worse, is nobody is exactly happy about last weeks loss, but some, are acting like the world has come to an end. Seriously, the polyanna's, as you put just would appreciate that some of you get a frickin' grip. Make your complaint and move on. No one cares to bear witness to the poor plight of said Cardinals fan, especially whining over the same thing.

If it is so bad, then go find something else to do with your free time. I swear, it it is not like someone is forcing you people to watch football.

But carry on. Whiz sux, the Cardinals suck, and the team raped my dog last night and all that.

Madness.

+2.

And some have earned the benefit of the doubt of being complete unable to handle any type of adversity in football.

I have not ignored a poster yet in ASFN. I got a list going. Not for the negativity, just the tired, repetition of the same whining complaint over, and over, and over again. ZZZzzzzzz...........

Voicing negatives about moves made is about all fans can do, and believe me, I'm not always right far from it, was wrong on Warner and admitted it, don't care who gets mad or glad.

Still, we're fans, no one is giving up on the team and of course things could in fact be worse but they also could be much better.

KC was horrible too, for a couple years, now all of a sudden they aren't horrible and they have some good young players, but when you've been to the valley's we have, you'd hope for more mountains and instead it looks like we're turning around and headed straight back for the valley again, ugh.

Bravo. Well put.

Yes, agreed. Not looking good this year. Derek Anderson is what he is. Fitz has started out hurt. Beanie is hurt. We are young a key positions, and have no identity.

If the season goes well we will be around .500 and the team NOBODY wants to play at the end of the year.

If the season goes bad we will have double digit losses, and more questions at the end of the year than at the beginning.

Nope and I'm not ready to jump off a tall building because the team I root for lost a game.

The highs and lows on this board are simply amazing. The agonizing, groaning and complaining and wanting to get rid of every player on the team after a loss is like a broken record. We have even gone back to the Bidwill's are too cheap to spring for good players.

Some people act like we can get every free agent to come play for this team and beat out all 31 other NFL teams. It ain't gonna happen. If you are going to rant, at least be honest with yourself. There is only so much you can do when you have the competition of all these other teams and no matter how hard you try, you can't address every problem area your team has. There is only 5 or 10 really good free agents available every year. The odds of any one team getting more than one are not so great.

I don't mind the rants, but lets keep reality in the picture.

Come on Duck, you know our record the previous 20 years, this is a vast improvement.

The D is a huge concern. Name the last team to win 12 or mors games in the past 6 years. Maybe the Colts, who else?

Considering the past of this organization, this basically is a dynasty. :)

:yeahthat:

Great. Hey, don't worry, we stink, but at least we don't stink as much as we used to.

:bang:

It was so bad for so long that what Whiz and company have accomplished is truly amazing. Is this team everything I prayed and wished for, hell no, but it isn't the soul sucking crap we had for 20 + years.

Crazy rantings from several posters.

Whis takes the freaking Cardinals to the SB and some consider him an idiot. Not enough mirrors in this world.

I have 5 to 6 posters on ignore at this point. I just couldn't handle the crazy idiotic rants.

Difficult times are what defines all good coaches. Well see how good Ken really is. Good coaches don't let their team quit on them. The guy isn't perfect and the team made a poor move entering training camp with two marginal QBs -- which can be just as much the GMs fault.

Nicely said.

I'll use my fantasy football dilemma to outline why I'm nervous about this. Darren McFadden is playing like a beast. Right now, I'd normally ride the hot hand and start him, because it's clear we're not a great run-stopping team right now. The problem is, I KNOW that we always come out like a beast on defense after a blowout loss. Well, I USED to know that; this season, how are we going to react to that situation? Of course, even if I start McFadden, I'll then root against him in the actual game lol

I don't think its wrong to criticize the team, and everyone has their own opinion and way to heal after a game, but it is a little ridiculous to be calling for everyone's head after a blowout loss. Anyone else remember the New England game before our Super Bowl run? Doesn't mean we are in the same boat this year, but sometimes things just go wrong in a game. A little patience may just pay off in the end ;)

I think a lot of finger pointing and anger is over issues that people were worried about or dissatisfied about before the season started. I'm currently ripping on B-Rob, but I didn't even expect him to be on the roster, so it makes me more cranky. I just read about our team's pathetic offseason QB approach, which is enough to drive Freud nuts.
