I got a tad overzealous last week and let my emotions take over after we beat the Saints. I thought we were a contender and I now know that we are not. We have some great pieces of that puzzle. Dockett, Berry, Pace is coming along, Dansby and Adrian Wilson. Quan, Fitz, BJ and parts of our o-line. But we still can't hide the fact that we are a complete team. We don't have a leader on offense who can lead with his performance. Quan might be that guy, but Emmitt is old and McCown just hasn't come along yet if he ever will.

We are a team trying to turn things around and we all knew that a quarter like the 4th was going to happen to this young D. We all knew that our offense would struggle to score to win a game without a true leader on the field. We find ways to lose instread of finding ways to win. I promise that this will change the longer Green is here. I was afraid of this game, because it was on the road. We have lost 16 straight on the road and that is not by coincidence and is a hard streak to break. Expectations have been set too high by us because we see all the potential that this team has and because we are real fans. It is on the bottom of my posts and I'l say it here. 4-12 with only 2 losses by more than 10 or more points and the season is a success.

Our record wil look terrible, but this team is much improved overall. My expectations for this year was only for this team to be competitive in all games played. For the most part they have been in every game except NE. After two more drafts by Green, and we still are a four win team, I for one will be very very surprised.

I was wondering when something like this would happen, also. I think you have to go way back to 1997 and our opening day collapse at Cinncinnati and the game several weeks later with the Vikes to match this. So we take our lumps like all growing teams do.

You guys will be better than 4-12. This version of the cards has too much emotion/pride and progessing talent to finish 4-12. When Boldin comes back, the cards O is going to be a great. Emmitt has looked good this year, I don't know how well he will hold up this year, but I see the Cards O as getting better each week. With all the young talent you have and with Green's track record, I'm thinking that you will finish closer to .500.

I think we are expecting to much when Boldin comes back from readin here. You got to have a QB to get our receivers the ball and you need a running game to open up the passing game. Do not pin your hopes on one very good receiver to turn this around. To many pieces of the puzzle are missing. We will draft very high again maybe even number one. Wonder where DG will go with this draft? How sad that we are only into game 6 and I am already thinking about next year's draft. So is the life of a Cardinal fan.

No, but it will give him more time to throw and the running game more room to run.

SWD...I am not going to argue with you that McCown is going to be a starter in this league for the next 10 years but I would go with him ahead of King. At the end of the year...we will know if he can get us to where we want to be or if we will have to upgrade the position.

Remember...at one time you thought Pittman was the much better back than Thomas Jones and that TJ would never make it in the NFL...I think time will tell a different story. (Not picking on you) I thought Jamal Lewis would be a bust, among others.

Note: Anquan Boldin had 22 catches for 221 yds and 1 TD in Josh's three starts last year. The offense will open up when he returns and I think Josh will put up some big numbers and probably make his share of mistakes. We will see.
