I swear people are like heroin addicts. They need more, more, more. Bigger explosions, more spectacle.

Id be perfectly happy with a little movie made on $10M about street racing, like the firm film.

the first film was the most shameless rip-off of Point Break I've ever seen. Give me Fast 5-8 any day of the week and twice on Sunday over that wanna-be.

Id rather see a rip off of a great movie, than an original pile of dog poop

Yeah it's kinda lame how they turned this completely into some "racers fighting for justice" type BS.

I wish people would realize that not every movie has to be about saving the world.

Michelle Rodriguez threatens to leave 'Fast & Furious' franchise
(CNN)Michelle Rodriguez is standing up for her female cast members.

The actress announced on Instagram that she is prepared to leave behind her beloved role as Letty Ortiz in the hit "Fast and the Furious" franchise due to its lack of strong female voices in the series.
"F8 is out digitally today," she wrote in the caption of her Instagram photo. "I hope they decide to show some love to the women of the franchise on the next one or I just might have to say goodbye to a loved franchise. It's been a good ride & I'm grateful for the opportunity the fans & studio have provided over the years ... One Love."

Enjoyable movie, as always, over the top.

Only the 6th movie ever to crack $1 Billion Overseas.

So you have Avatar, Titanic, The Force Awakens, The Avengers and the last two Fast and Furious movies!

Because these movies are solid-gold crap, and maybe legacy is more important to some actors? Not Deniro (sp?) obviously :)

I have to agree with Stout here. I have never seen a F&F movie and never will. I'm sure they have their place with teenage boys who are easily amused.

Ludicrously stupid... which is saying something for these movies, but still super fun, if not a little long.

The Rock and Statham steal this movie. Four MASSIVE set-pieces and Statham's airplane sequence are worth the price of admission.
The Rock and Statham definitely stole the show. These last few films have been crazy.
