So Pixar movies are counted as Disney now even if they were produced before the merger?

Beats me, I just copied and pasted the list from the internets.

For this excercise let's include them, what the heck.

Yeah I was just asking. they probably own the rights to them. Seems like Pixar was better alone IMO but maybe that's just the novelty of their movies wore off on me?

hard for me I tend to prefer more recent movies. I'd say Brave, Tangled and Frozen. Not sure what it is about Brave(think that's Disney) but we just love that movie. Think it's the accents

Honorable Mentions to Nightmare Before Christmas, Jungle Book and Brave, my last three cuts, in that order.

Our favorite Disney animated's, in order:

WALL-E
Emperor's New Groove
Lilo & Stitch
Lion King
Tarzan/Phineas & Ferb The Movie

We haven't seen Frozen yet. It was hard for me to leave The Sword in the Stone and Jungle Book off my list as they are favorites from my youth but they don't hold up as well for me now.

This is complicated.....

I am breaking it down into what I'll define as 3 eras....1937 to 1966, 1967 to 1994 and 1995 to present day. This is somewhat arbitrary, but for me anyway, seems to be (roughly) animation done in a certain way. Anyway... here goes

1937 to 1966
Fantasia
Bambi
Peter Pan

1967 to 1994
Little Mermaid
Jungle Book
Lion King

1995 to Present Day
Up
Toy Story x3
Tangled
Monsters Inc.

I didn't include any of the Japanese movies listed (Spirited Away, Kiki's Delivery Service, etc...... all of which I own) because I didn't consider them truly Disney flicks. Similarly, I didn't include stop motion films like Nightmare Before Christmas and Frankenweenie (both of which I loved) because it seemed an apples and oranges comparison.

BTW.... A tip o' the ol' UC hat to Djaughe/Jughead, wherever he his, for turning me on to all the Japanese stuff, particularly Spirited Away. Amazing stuff.

I havent seen wreck ralph yet. Kudos on the pinnochio mention, I had to cut it but wanted it in there. Also kudos to stout for robin hood as a number one - I feel it is way underrated and one of my favorite childhood movies.

Yes - 2 of my favorite movies of all time, and yet I don't have them on DVD (which is weird). Time to go to Zia and fix that.

"Cruellla de Vil" is my favorite movie song, and I don't really like movie songs.
