The thing is it's going to be very difficult. If Sanders outplays Gabriel then Dillon was a bad pick. If Dillon outplays Sanders then Shedeur was a wasted pick unless you can trade him and who's going to trade for a guy they passed on in the draft 4-5 times?
Yeah, that is why the owner forcing the issue is the only thing that makes sense. Feels like the football people made their feelings clear with the Gabriel pick.
If they both fail, yes it’s a waste. If one of them becomes their long term starter then it’s a huge win for them. Wouldn’t care about wasting either pick in that long term starter scenario

Say what you will about the Browns, but at least they are creating massive legit competition in their QB room. Something a lot of people have wanted the Cards to do for a few years with Murray.
