I jsut watched it, I had tivoes it, and I have to say it seems very intresting. It may be my summer obsession. It is the most graphic show I have seen on network TV, I do not want to give away anything incase anyone wants to see it.

Here is TV TOmes blurb on it.
Welcome to The Inside guide at
TV Tome.

With very little field experience, rookie F.B.I. Agent Rebecca Locke will become part of a sinister and unsavory world when she is recruited to join the Bureau's Los Angeles Violent Crimes Unit as a new profiler. A special division headed by Supervisory Special Agent Virgil "Web" Webster that is devoted to investigating the darkest and most heinous crimes committed by human beings.

Unbeknownst to Rebecca, her traumatic past that she has struggled to bury and keep hidden from others is the sole reason why Web has recruited her. That what had tormented Rebecca so long ago will give her a unique insight and place her in a specific mindset to help her tackle these cases. This is also the case with her new colleagues as Web knows each of their past histories and secrets. It remains unclear the lengths that he is willing to go with his agents in order to successfully solve a crime.

Really good show.

Plus one of my favorite actors Adam Baldwin is in it. He played my favorite Character on Firefly.

Plus for you Angel and Firefly Fans, Tim Minear one of the main writters and sometimes director of a lot of the Angel and Firefly episodes and Joss Whedon cronie(which is a good thing) is the head guy on this project, writter and director. And his friend a 24 Exec Producer also produces this show as well. You can totally see his writting and directing style that came across in Angel and Firefly, dramitic with some funny one liners mixed in, but a lot darker then we are used to. Also most of the crew from Angel and Firefly went with him to this new show.

Note - The Original creators left the show after it tested really bad but the network still liked the idea and brought in Minear and his crew to revive it using the same premise. He then went and turned the show around and it tested really well.

Peter Facinelli was supposed to be in it and play the boss as well but bowed out. Thank god. Peter as the Role of Virgil (now played by by Peter Coyote) would have been horrible. Coyote is perfect for that role.

And a funny tid bit that some may find interesting. They film on the old Buffy set and Minears office is Whedons old office. The FBI office is right on top of the Sunnydale Cemetery. The whole place will be destoryed though next year becuase it was sold.

Also since you are a X Files fan Minear was also The The X-Files Executive Story Editor in 1998 and wrote 2 episodes in the 5th season, before he moved on to Strange World then Angel.
