told y’all that was Gandalf!
Holy CRAP!!!... That Title Sequence was forking LEGENDARY!!
For an age and more they shall walk the lands and proudly proclaim themselves "Durins Folk" for once, a god walked amongst Dwarves!
The Grand Elf has been named and now Gandalf has entered the song. We all knew it, but confirmation was yet glorious.... I am very impressed that with artistic license and such, they left the Balrog the same, and Narsil was still recognizable.... The moment that gave me chills though?.... when Callibrimbor used his dying words to tie Saurons life to the rings...thus setting the stage for all that comes after

The show went from good to great this season IMO. Absolutely felt like Peter Jackson’s universe but yet still their own thing. Can’t wait for Season 3.

They’ve done an incredible job of making Sauron a total monster. And the dwarves storyline is really good too. The Stranger story was okay, but it had its moments also and I like the Hobbit girls. And the scope and scale of the show is truly epic.

The only storyline I consistently tune out of is the one that takes place near the sea. They haven’t given me much in the way of characters there to care about.

Overall though, I thought S2 was a big leap forward and can’t wait for Season 3.

Yeah I think we will see the destruction of Numenor next season.
The sea chose the queen and the power hungry politician overthrow her anyway. Good a reason as any for the sea to swallow them up.
