We seem to have a lot of post about McGinnins. Why not let us discuss Buddy or some of the other coaches that never got us anywhere. Better yet let us discuss the GM or the Owners who hire the coaches. Our problems date back to over 50 years of poor ownership and poor coaches. We actually had a few excellent coaches along the way who got p----- off with ownership, left and became super coaches. We also have had a number of players who did the same thing. It is not any curse gentlemen and it sure did not begin with McGinnins. You watch the Cards as long as I have (almost 60 years) and you get a little crazy sometimes. I am at a point I just hope we can get over .500 before my time on this earth is over and from what I have seen Green is not going to be able to do it.

I'm sorry, didn't we go 9-7 not ten years ago? Apparently, you're far less forgiving of Dennis Green's progress (and that's what it's been) over thirteen games than you were over Mac's progress over four seasons. This team is better now than it was at this time last season.

Please please please please please stop telling us how long you've been a fan. If you can't see that this team is better off now than where it was last season, you should go cheer for a team that's already good. Like the Chargers. Get off your cross, big guy. We're all suffering. When was the last coach to move on from the Cardinals and become something?

People who are lambasting Green today apparently have forgotten the hopelessness that was the last three years, and just wish that we have a coach who would kick coolers at halftime and overturn chalkboards. Boo hoo. This team was playing a meaningful game in December, folks. When was the last time that happened? Much less two games.

I gotta agree with everything said here. We need to give DG a chance to make us a real team. Its gonna take a little time.

I've bashed Rod Graves mercilessly in the past but have refrained from doing so,as best i can, because i think he made good calls in Green and has kinded of faded into the background. The one thing i dislike him for most is letting Mac, or someone else, talk him out of drafting Leftwich.I know it's beating a dead horse but our team would've been set for years. In my time following the Cards, since the Metcalf(Terry, not Eric) days, that is the single biggest disappointment i can remember. That was the closest i've ever come to abandoning them as my team.
