Does anybody think this is truly unrealistic? I don't?

Even if we lose both SEA game sit still a doable 9 win season.

Do you or don't you? :)

And the 9ers have about 5 defensive starters out possibly. Even if we lose both SEA game sit still a doable 9 win season.
I say the Cards at least cover this week, and win 4 more games. Boom.

The Cardinals are going to lose four games in a row. Bet on it.

I think 8-8 is more likely.

SF injuries make Sunday's game interesting.

That both SF and Seattle have been beaten at least once makes them mortal (as in "on any given Sunday", "one game at a time", "it ain't over till it's over" and all that sort of stuff).

I think our most logical path gets us to one or two games north or south of .500, but our defense and ST's sure do look good...and you never know - a few favorable bounces of the ball...

Without the offense clicking it's hard to see us winning games against the Niners and Hawks.

I think Gore could have a field day running on us with the way we have been tackling. Which is very poorly. I know the D has been playing well and keeping us in games, but we still lack basic wrap up tackling skills.

The St. Louis game is looming large right now. But maybe that was the game that turned this team around.

Hoping for the best, expecting the worst. Cardinals football.

I don't think we've been that bad at tackling. We are 3rd best in the NFL against the run. If you want to see bad tackling, watch ASU.:D

Why would we lost to sf at home? If anything I believe we will take both niners games. I swear we better not lose to jaguars and give them their first win. We could also win at Seattle if their season is spiraling down and the 12th man is no longer a factor

dude, optimism is one thing, but really believing this team will a) take both Niner games and b) could win at Seattle because their season might be spiraling down just seems really wacky to me. Seattle is 4-1 and doesn't really show much of any reason their season would be spiraling down.

Well we did pull it off last year didn't we?, when we beat them at Seattle to start the season with arguably less talented team. I also remember the beat down we got at home but that's because whiz had already lost the team. I also think people are over hyping the niners. What have they really done outside week one? Q has pulled a great Houdini were just disappears in games, gore is over the top and is going against a top 3 running defense. Lastly krappernick will struggle because he has been and harbaugh will pop a vein.

You have it backwards. We beat Seattle in Glendale to start the season and got demolished when we played them in Seattle. The Cards are 5-22 on the road 2010-2013. I don't like our chances at any team's ballpark other than ours.

You're right we did beat them in our backyard but still there's always that chance we could pull it off with the better coaching staff we have now. So let's hope the best. For all we know we catch fire over the next stretch of games, maybe Palmer gets injured and Stanton or Lindley start playing balls out. I wouldn't doubt it if BA has called chuck on how to beat niners at home. I just see possibility. If we say "the lottery is won by selecting 6 random numbers" then we know it's impossible to win by selecting 5 numbers or less(there's no possibility in that, it's mathematically impossible ). So unless BA says we will not travel to CA an play I know there's a possibility. Maybe it's a low possibility (which I don't believe it is) but it can happen!

Like some other posters , I looked (before the season started) at this 4 game span coming at us . I thought oh my that looks brutal , 0 - and - 4 brutal , and now I like our chances to come through this 2 -- 2 or 3 -- 1 . I feel confident that we can compete with all 4 teams . Just Good Vibes !!!!

We can compete, but the turnovers on offense have to be eliminated, especially against SF and Seattle. They are an unaffordable luxury against those two teams.

We will have to play mistake free football to win these games. Our defense can keep us in these games but the offense has to do something. Palmer has to play well period. Frisco is hurting without Aldin Smith and Crabtree. Atlanta without Julio Jones is beatable. The Texans have not been playing that well.

I am not going to fall for the banana in the tailpipe. I am still highly skeptical, but I am far more likely to watch after a 3-2 start than I was when I thought they would be lucky to start 1-4.

I appreciate all the optimism, I really do. But this Cardinals team could just as likely go 0-4, over the next four games, as 3-1; winning all four would be incredulous!

Absolutely there's a chance. We're not even at the point where we need to invoke Jim Carrey, we have a legitimate chance at winning at home against Seattle and beating the 49ers away. Not a great chance mind you, but certainly not lottery level either. But the odds ARE against us and they are especially against us if our offense keeps playing like it's 2011.

It IS going to take a lot better offensive performance than we've seen so far, and against a still formidable Niner defense which probably gets Patrick Willis back. I'd like to think the Cardinal offense can be more productive than it has shown, but it remains to be seen.

'Good Carson' has to show up Sunday and 'Bad Carson' has to take the day off. If that happens, there's a chance. It also wouldn't hurt if bad Kapernick showed up and threw a pick-6 to Patrick Peterson.
