1991 ! So I suppose using the "cool-kids" policy of the best seats in the back, I'm near the doors staring at the head lice of the kid infront of me.

No place I'd rather be. Sign me up for 9-7 and tears of joy.

Year 20 for me also and even though i think we'll be bad again this year, to quote Bill Murray in Meatballs: It just doesn't matter! It Just Doesn't MATTER! IT JUST DOESN'T MATTER!

It's football - and I can't wait.

NORTHWEST INDIANA REPRESENT! I often go to the Tribune to get Cardinals info. There was much jubilation from me upon reading this Adrian Wilson assessment from Whisenhunt, Adrian “looks like a completely different player” than the one he remembered from a year ago, when the Cards played Pittsburgh — the team Whisenhunt helped coach — in the preseason.

“He was already playing at a high level,” and after working in the team’s offseason program, “He looks even bigger, stronger and faster than what I remember.”

Also, Roderick Hood is starting tonight.

You should also check out this old story about assistant Jeff Rutledge. There certainly are a lot of believers on this team. Boldin and Fitzgerald have been awarded by Christian organizations and we all know about Warner's Christianity. I ultimately don't think it affects a team's success if a strong bunch are dedicated men of faith. There are certainly some positives to the locker room and practice field to have guys who believe they are working for the man upstairs yet people of all kinds of religions have won Super Bowls. That said, the 2007 Cardinals are a team of destiny.

Cardinal Bandwagon? Hell, I helped drive the thing from St.Louis to Arizona.

A fellow told me that some guy from Arkansas named John built it.

It was tough going either way. The mules kept taking one step forward and two steps back. We finally had to turn them around backward to make it to Phoenix.

I am on but my hopes are not high for the first time in years? Does that mean I am realistic now or that I have been a Cardinals fan for too long??? My first year really following the team was 2002...

There's nothing wrong with being a realist. What makes a 'realist' a 'darksider' is that 'darksiders' expend too much effort trying to convince 'kool-aiders' that they're wrong.

There's room on the bus for everyone!

Wow. You've followed this team through one of the worst stretches of football in it's history. At least most of us have the "glory" of 1998 to fall back on. :)

Where do realists sit on the bandwagon? Do we walk along the side of it and tell you "I told you so" when you fall off?

Realists need to be the designated drivers, since the optimists have usually had too much to drink :koolaid: .
