I hope the Cardinals draft someone most posters like. There has not been much happiness with this draft.

Okay, you're plan is better than mine. I was going to suggest we trade all these disgruntled fans to Philly but getting a popular player would save a bundle on moving costs. :)

I've loved a lot of our drafts in the past and more often than not the talking heads were equally thrilled with our selections. For some reason, it didn't usually transfer to the field. This year, I'm having to work a little harder to explain/justify the picks but in the end, I trust the guys making the picks until they give me good reason not to. So today, I love this draft but three years from now, who knows.

I look at it like this: pretty much every QB taken on day three will never play. That is fact.

So with this in mind I'd rather take a project with high upside. And Thomas is one of the best athletes in the draft at any position.

AND! In BA we trust.

Good way to look at it.

I know! I remember always checking the pundit's draft grades and we were consistently getting better draft grades than the Hawks and Niner's. I even remember laughing my ass off at their drafts every year between 2010-2012 and look at how things turned out.

I've admittedly been confused by this draft so far. But I realize this is probably explained by all my pre-draft "knowledge" being gleaned from this message board.

The Hawks took a lot of high potential guys with some red flags and they made them work

Niners took guys under the radar and they made them work.

We are having one of those drafts so it's up to our staff to make this work.

K Chris Boswell. I don't think the coaching staff is sold on Feeley. Don't know if he was playing injured last year but allowed too many kickoffs to be returned. We had a chance in the SF final---but the kickoff was misplaced and SF ran it back and finished out the game. Coaching staff remembers those errors---Arians never looked like he was comfortable with Feeley.

And most don't have the potential to move to TE if it doesn't work out.

When the Patriots make these kinds of picks everybody says, "Oh, another guy that fits their system." It is assumed that they know what they're doing because of all their success.

If the Cards make the playoffs this year and make picks like this again next year everybody will say, "Oh, another guy that fits their system."

Until then we'll all want to know why they didn't consult Mel Kiper. :sarcasm:
