Wow Alias! (spoilers likely)

Anyone watch this show? I think it's probably one of the best shows on TV that doesn't have a huge following.

Amazing 2-hour season finale tonight, just brilliant. Left you just dying to know what happens next season, can't believe we have to wait.

Excellent season finale.

Looks like the Practice season finale will also be very interesting.

Can anyone tell me the gyst (sp?) of what Alias is all about? It sounds kind of X-File-ish, but without the paranormal aspect.

All I know is that Michael Vartan, one of the hottest actors I've ever seen in my entire 19 and a half years of existence, is on the show.

Yum. Jersey Girl, back me up on this!

Alias in as small a nutshell as I can put it...

(Spoilers)

Jennifer Garner is Sydney. She works for the CIA, or so she thought. She ends up being contacts by the REAL CIA and they tell her who she's working for...I think, or else it was her dad.

Anyways, she finds out she's actually working for SD6, a bad group of men hell bent on doing bad things. The head of SD6 is Sloan, and he wants to find these Rembaldi artifacts that will unlock something huge, we don't really know yet, but it might be time travel related.

So now that Sydney knows she's working for SD6, she becomes a double-agent, working FOR the CIA to infiltrate SD6.

So that was basically the first season, her doing things for the CIA to help them keep tabs on SD6.

However, this season ended up doing all kinds of things, like introducing her monther, who killed a ton of CIA agents before Syd was born, and was thought to have been killed.

Then SD6 was finally brought down by the CIA and Sydney, now Sloan is on the loose.

However, at the end of last season, Sydney gets in a fight with her roommate, who really isnt' her roommate, and wakes up TWO YEARS after the fight in China, without any recollection of what happened.

There is a lot that happened that I didn't mention, but you could read some synopsis of past episodes on their website.

Female spy in a bikini and other skimpy outfits.

But Mikey watches for the intricate plot twists. :D

LoL, thanks Mike for the synopsis (and leaving out the part about the bikini wearing spy woman). :)

Not a bad looking fella, 32, but I prefer my men short and stocky. Need something to hold on to, you know?

And anyone who reads into the above statement ... get your mind outta the gutter, will ya? :)

LOL. Not quite that extreme and I prefer some hair. I'm talking 5'8", 180. Tall lanky guys don't do it for me.

Alias anyone?

Anyone watch that show?

Wow, the season premier was last night and it was simply amazing. This show is starting to become slightly X-files-like (minus the aliens) and I just love it.

Good characters, plots, the writing is superb and you never know what direction the show is going to take you.

It was great. I don't think it's anywhere near the X- Files, but it was great. With the Practice destroyed, and ER repeating the same stories over and over again, Alias is definitely becoming my favorite TV show.

On a serious note, is anybody watching Threat Matrix?

No, i tried for about 10 minutes on the pilot episode and was bored, it just looked bad to me.

I like CSI and Without a Trace, that's my crime show fill for the week.

Close!

And about Threat Matrix, if I remember correctly, one of the writers for the show was also a main writer for the X-Files (John Shiban).

I heard the pilot wasn't very good. I haven't actually seen it, but that's the general feeling I got from a lot of X-Files/John Shiban fans who had tried to give it a shot.

I love the X-Files...I'll have to look up some Mulder quotes for my signature...he sure had some good lines.

Man I miss that show, when it was good.
