You're butchering English.

HaHa! "You're" right. And since you feel so strongly about my misspelling of the word "you're" Im going to make you my official spell checker. Going forward I want you to check all my posts for grammatical errors since you like to nitpick. But, you would have done that anyway, Right? So, thats "your" new job here. Dont disappoint me.:D

I know, right? I felt like we had Bad Kurt Warner in there, but Bad Kurt never turned those kinds of games around--Palmer did, in a big bad way.[/QUOTE]

I was thinking the same thing but it's been so long ago now that I couldn't be sure. It seemed like when Warner was off, he stayed off for the entire game but now I just expect Palmer to correct himself and get the team back in it. It's fairly calming, actually.

Man, our depth, across the board, is stunning.

Our depth, in a way reminds me of the 1994 49ers, who rolled the Chargers in the Super Bowl. That team had so many offensive weapons we were making bets on who would score next during that game. We aren't nearly as ridiculously built as that team was on defense, but on offense we are just as deep if not deeper.

it really is one of the most loaded offenses I can ever remember. They're seemingly 5 deep at WR, 3 deep at RB, have 2 serviceable TEs and depth all along the O-line.

I still think the Rams of 1999, or Pats of '08 were better simply because they had QBs who seemingly never made mistakes AND they had the most ridiculous starters (HOF in their prime level players in Faulk and Moss), but as far as depth goes... you can't ask for more with this offense.

which is pretty awesome considering MOST of it will be back next season (save CJ probably).

But yeah... the D ain't near the juggernaut that that Niners D was, I don't care what the rankings say.

You could say the DE that ran him down was the most impressive play of the game lol.

It was but remember Nelson came ot an almost complete stop to avoid the first tackler. Still I was impressed he caught him.

Do people remember years ago when Murrell had a big run for the jets against us? The most impressive thing on that whole play to me was Simeon Rice chasing him the whole way and gaining on him. he didn't catch him but I was amazed a guy that big was actually faster than a starting NFL RB. And of course later on it amazed me Rice actually ran the whole way given the lack of effort we saw from him except on passing downs.

He didn't catch JJ--he took the proper pursuit angle and cut him off. Very savvy play for that D-lineman. I once caught an absolute speedster on the left sideline from a right defensive end position, and blew him up with a crushing hit. Sure, it was 60 yards down the field at about the five yard line, but damn it, I'm slow, and I had to take the proper pursuit angle :D Little bastard thought he had a TD hehe

I'll add my kudos, and go beyond and not blame him for that 2nd INT. Unless someone has inside info, it looked pretty clear that Palmer just wasn't in it early. He certainly didn't react like a QB who threw a pick because his WR screwed up.
One if them Palmer went deep and the wr went short but I don't know if it was the second one

I would say based on the coverage and the fact that the ball was intercepted easily by the DB that Palmer made the wrong read and JJ actually ran the correct route adjustment.

If JJ had made the mistake when Palmer was asked he would have said so but done so in a very diplomatic way. Palmer falling on the sword for JJ is not out of the realm of possibility but I think it was Palmer's error in the first place.

in the replay: JJ and Fitz end up in the same spot of the field, running deep ins. One of them should have been going deep-- and I suspect it was JJ.

Your honor, based on this new evidence we retract our plea of not guilty of running the wrong route but still insist Palmer made the wrong decision on where to throw the ball.
