Okay, not sure why we've never had a Seinfeld thread, but I wanted to start one.

I watch it every night, whether I've seen it before or not...but last night's 11:30 show got me thinking about my favorite Seinfeld moments. I think we can also do favorite shows, but moments or scenes are fun too.

1. George tells the story of being a marine biologist and saving the whale.
2. Elaine leaves the room saying "I'm going to visit my mother, she bought me some new panties and has them ALL LAID OUT FOR ME".
3. In "The Contest", Kramer slams down his money and says "I'M OUT!".
4. Jerry runs in the race to the Superman theme
5. Kramer hangs up on the unemployment office, with George running out yelling "Say Art Vandelay!"...and then Jerry seems him lying on the floor in his underwear..."and you want to be my latex salesman"...

This show just never gets old.

I like "Jimmy likes Elaine. Jimmy would like to go out with Elaine." Classic.

My brother, sister and I go around saying "Don't Mess with the Devils!" from when Putty went up to the priest in the car when he was a facepainter. We also say "Cant stands ya!" when someone ticks us off.

And I love the Independent George episode.

Au contriare, Bubbleboy, it was not the Moors, but the Moops.

Jerry telling George to Let it Go when the Soup Nazi forgets the bread.

Puffy shirt - But I don't want to be a Pirate!

I loved these moments too!

One of my personal favorites was the "Carzy Joe Davola! He's gonna put the kibash on me! He's gonna put the kibash on me!"

Seinfeld trivia question: Why was George yelling "tippie toe - tippie toe" to Jerry?

Winner gets nothing (other than the pride of answering first of course).

When they were trying to switch out the answering machine tapes in George's girlfriends apartment.

I think that's right.

You are correct sir! Damn your good. Tippie-toe was the password George used to tell Jerry that his girlfriend was entering the room. I laugh just thinking about George running into the room yelling tippie-toe in a panic.

Some more good ones:

"I've been lying about my income for a few years. I figured I could afford a fake house in the Hamptons."
- George

"I'm calling up the Rosses and inviting them out to my non-existent place in the Hamptons. Then we'll see who blinks first." "Haven't you done enough to these people?"

- George and Elaine

"And I have horses too."
"What are their names?"
"Snoopy and Prickly Pete."
- George and Mr. Ross

OMG - how could I have ever forgotten FESTIVUS?

I still laugh so hard when George's dad is speaking at the dinner table explaining the holiday.

This show is so great - you just have to mention a few words and everyone knows what you mean and laugh.

One of my favorite episodes is the Tonya Harding takeoff. She doesn't cry when her grandmother dies but does when her hotdog falls to the ground. Also, it's Macaroni Beth.

Another great episode was the bra. Stan the Caddy tells Kramer to have her try on the bra.

Moreover, Seinfeld is kind of like Bewitched in that Jerry had two people play his dad. What ever happened to the first dad?

There are too many great episodes but once Larry David left the shows were not as good. There were some who did not like the final episode but I did.
