Word has it that it isnt that they arent close, or Pace has been low-balled but that the Cards have not answered Pace's counter-offer to the Cards original offer yet.
As my 'friend' put it, (paraphrasing ) ' they havent begun real negotiations yet'
This was of Tuesday, so who knows since then!

You know, if the agents are waiting for the results of the picks around us (BAL - Boller and PHI - McDougle), this could take a while. The Iggles haven't signed any of their Top 3 picks, and it looks like negotiations in B-More are going to take a while.
