I grilled a thin steak and covered it in sauteed onions, with fresh green beans on the side, and a glass of milk. Then I had 4 frozen thin mints (yum).

If it was Friday night, I would have gotten drunk, considering the crappy day I had. But alas, I limited myself to 2 Dos Equis.

LOVE fresh green beans!!!

Always chilled, straight up. :)

Yesterday was a crappy day. Today is better.

Tonight's dinner? Bad foods. I am giving up beer, diet soda and all fried foods for Lent. I have actually already stopped drinking diet soda and it has made a huge difference in the way I feel.
GAH! I knew it was Ash Wednesday today/Fat Tuesday yesterday, but for some reason I hadn't even thought about what I was giving up...I already had Chick-Fil-A for breakfast...so there goes fried foods, lol. I may still do that. I gave up table salt last year & it damn near killed me. Don't want to do that again.

Maybe I'll give up chocolate. That would suck pretty bad.

Cabrenet braised country style ribs, baked Yukon gold potato, and a salad.

It's going to be so good!

MD 20/20, ugh. The last time I drank that was early November, 1992. I had completed 8 weeks of Basic Training at Fort Jackson, South Carolina and a buddy's mom was going to buy us some booze. For some unknown reason, I ended up with 2 bottles of MD 20/20 which promptly ended up in a toilet along with the first bit of fast food I had eaten in two months. lol Good times.

Was thinking same thing.
Maybe it was the outrageousness of more of the plate being empty than covered with food? Or the abundance of sour cream and lack of sauce/beans?

Skimpyskimpyskimpy. Wimpywimpywimpy.

Might be a little on the skimpy-looking side, but it DOES look DEEEElicious.

Oh, that back 1/3 is completely untouchable. But the sour cream/guac portions look amazing.
Amazing? Why? That is the saddest looking guacamole I can remember seeing. It is like they added food coloring to the sour cream. :)

Knock it all you want - it is a huge and delicious burrito.

From their menu:

The Outrageous
Our biggest and best stuffed with beans, Mexican rice, shredded beef and chicken, cheese, lettuce, pico de gallo and ground beef topped with a medley of ranchero sauce, avocado sauce and sour cream.

----------------

Not skimpy or wimpy at all. The plates there are huge.

The rice is all on the left. The untrained eye might not recognize that the portion on the right side, with the beans, is sweet corn masa.
