Heck yeah!!!

Love the champagne brunches. Yum, yum, yum!!! And, as a vegetarian, I can ALWAYS find something yummy at the buffets!!

Shane, what's your fav? Maybe break it down for us: strip, off-strip and whatever the heck other category you want to add.

The one at...Planet Hollywood, I think it was, is downright spectacular.

Never had Planet Hollywood. Tend to stay away from strip WAY to pricey in general.

My favorite however is Mandalay Bay if and when I decide to go to one on the strip. Will generally hit the all you can eat crab leg buffet located at Green Valley Ranch in Henderson.

Last night was an awesome dinner! Had a soy meatball sandwich, steamed brocoli and carrots and a salad. AWESOME!!!

Not sure what's on the menu tonight. Probably burgers and veggies, since it will be a late work night.

I had a leftover chicken breast that I baked with black beans, salsa, and green chilies with a side of broccoli and rice. Resisted the temptation to eat something unhealthy because I'm so close to my first weight loss goal.

We went to a timeshare thing and got it for free. It was close to $30 per person regular priced. Almost seemed worth it too. It was really good.

I'd try it. I bet it tastes pretty similar.

I'm betting no. Have tried many soy products. They don't taste anywhere near the same IMO. The texturebis what's worse IMO though. Funny though cus I can drink soy milk no problem.

I would say no as well, though I haven't had beef since 1989. The veggie products have come a LOOOOONG way since that time! I find the bacon and hot dogs taste the closest (from what I remember), but the texture is definitely different.

I wouldn't recommend soy products to any meat lover, that's for sure!

Good for you! Keep going--hitting that goal will really help keep you motivated!

I had made a small side of Boca soy crumbles (soy ground "beef") and seasoned it with a little of the taco seasoning I used on the ground beef. I am trying to avoid ground beef while dieting. In my massive taco/burrito I couldn't tell a difference at all.

I'd give it a try if I were you. The texture is normally a little different, but not horrible. The amount of calories & fat you save is totally worth it when you're trying to hit a goal. It also lets you have things (like a meatball sub) that you'd ordinarily have to just do without, which is great.

Don't let whatever snarky comment Shane [edit: Mulli] is about to make regarding what I just said affect you. :D

I'm all for Heavy doing whatever he has to do. I just choose not to eat SOY meat products. :D

Heavy, Boca is the best product I have found for meat substitute. There is a newer product on the market called gardein that is also very good. (The Yard House uses it and it rocks!) You can also find gardein at Fresh and Easy in the vegetable section.

Gardenburger has riblets that they put out. I think they are awesome, but, then again, I haven't had ribs in over 20 years ... so everything is relative.

I pretty much stick to white meat chicken, but maybe the next time I want tacos I'll try what Linda did.

I'm going to Buffalo Wild Wings tonight with a friend, I'm gonna get a grilled chicken wrap and see what the offer besides fries, onion rings and chips. It's been so long since I've eaten anything greasy that it makes me sick anyway. I'm also going to look into hydroxycut or something to see if I can speed up the weight loss.

I am wearing a new pair of pants today that I bought in December thought that I didn't fit into and refused to return.

Good job NotsoHeavy3. Try a nice flank steak. In moderation, it is not too bad, and it is great as leftovers.
