I hadn't watched "E.B.E." in a while - that was a SOLID episode, for Season 1 standards - anything with that much *********** has gotta be a good episode (i know that sounds bad, you sickos.. but I mean the character :D )

Can't wait to finish this season and get to the meaty parts of the show (The end of season 2 through season 5 - imo)

One of my favorite episodes. I love the conversation they have by the aquarium. And the end is awesome, when Mulder is right there, guns are pointed at him, and DT walks in.

They killed ***********!

*points at Chris Carter and R. W. Goodwin* YOU BASTARDS!!!!!!!!!!!!

Just finished up "The Erlenmeyer Flask" to complete Season 1. MAN what a fantastic episode. This finally got the ball rolling with the whole government conspiracy/alien hybrid thing.

And the ending? WOW - total shocker. One of the best endings to a season in X-Files history (maybe third to Season 2 or Season 7 (sans "I'm pregnant")

Overal season 1 did pretty decent. Here's a rundown of my view on season 1

Favorite episode: Ice
Least favorite episode: Space

Solid eps: Squeeze, Fallen Angel, Beyond the Sea, E.B.E., The Erlenmeyer Flask

Clunker eps: Space, Ghost in the Machine, Born Again

Underrated or "sleepers:" Eve, Fire, Darkness Falls

I need to buy the first season of the X-Files on DVD. As soon as I get my school books paid for i think thats the first thing I will buy. I remember I really liked the first season. I think Muler was the creepiest then and then over time they just made him weird.

I don't remember the episode Space, but I think i remember ice. It was the one with the worms that made people hate? The two things that I remember from that episode are Mulder had to take his shirt off for Skully to check him for worms which is a lot sexier then it sounds and i remember that episode was the first time I ever heard the word 'sweltering' used so that episode helped build my vocabulary.

I just watched the episodeon television where some guy could control people with his brain tumor and he made Mulder play Russian roulette. I love this episode. Mulder and Skully touch hands at the end. Aaawwwwwww.....

That episode is called Pusher - it's one of my favorites!

And yes, after buying your books, you should DEFINITELY get season 1... then you can come here and contribute your thoughts too!

Alrighty, I am a few episodes into Season 2.

Just finished up the Duane Barry/Ascension/One Breath arc. Man, I forgot how good One Breath is. I thought DD's acting was superb in this episode. The gamut of emotions he feels - guilt, rage, helplessness, fear etc are all there on the surface. My favorite moment though, was the altercation with him and X. That was INTENSE. The feirce whispering and X barking out "You're MY tool." I had to rewind that part and watch it again :)

PS - I love Ma Scully :)

PPS - I really enjoyed CCH Pounder in Duane Barry too :)

I agree! My favorite part was when X breaks that dude's arm and then shoots him... turns to Mulder and calls him a dammned school- boy. First time I saw that, I was like, "Holy crap, X is a badass!"

Still in Season 2 - about to start Dod Kalm.

I love the Colony/End Game arc. Love love love it. Especially the fight between Skinner and X. One of my faves!

I hope to finish up season 2 this week but with classes starting tomorrow, I am not sure. I can't wait to get to Anasazi trilogy arc.

Best eps of the show are coming up!

Didn't Steve and Mitch break that set while filming? I think Mitch pushed Steve too hard and it broke.

Yeah I remember hearing something about their fight. THe director wanted them to really get into it and they must have gotten a little TOO into it :). Great scene though!!

ABC OKs Night Stalker Pilot: Frank Spotnitz!

http://www.scifi.com/scifiwire2005/...gory=0&id=30210

ABC OKs Night Stalker Pilot

ABC has ordered a pilot of an updated Night Stalker series from former The X-Files executive producer Frank Spotnitz, Variety reported. The show will rework the classic 1970s ABC show Kolchak: The Night Stalker, which detailed a hard-boiled journalist's investigations into freakish occurrences, the trade paper reported.

Ironically, The X-Files creator Chris Carter has said he was inspired in part by the original Night Stalker series, which starred Darren McGavin.

Meanwhile, The WB is honoring its commitment to Supernatural, an hourlong drama from writer and executive producer Eric Kripke, the trade paper reported. Another X-Files alumnus, director David Nutter, has come on board as helmer and executive producer.

McG and Stephanie Savage's Warner Brothers TV-based Wonderland Sound and Vision is producing. Peter Johnson heads up Wonderland, the trade paper reported.

My Star Trek: The Next Generation set arrived last week, and Jerry Hardin was in one episode. Kim Manners directed that episode and Rob Bowmen directed another one.

Season 1- Episode 18- When The Bough Breaks- Guest star Jerry Hardin, directed by Kim Manners. I saw Rob's name there many times, but don't remember exact episodes. I am going through it now though... becoming a legit Trekkie :p

FINALLY finished Season 2.

Watched 2 eps into Season 3 - The Blessing Way and Paperclip

OH MY FRIGGIN GOD these episodes rocked. I honestly had watched them in a while and it seriously felt like I was watching them for the first time. The standoff between Scully and Skinner was absolutely AWESOME!!

Great acting by everyone involved. Boy I sure do love Ma Scully.

"This is where you pucker up and kiss my ass!" - best line of the entire series lol :D

Anasazi/ The Blessing Way/ Paperclip is awesome... from Well Manicured Man's performance and Krycek/ Skinner fight to Krycek's call to CSM and Skinner's little exchange with CSM.

My roommate is officially hooked on the X-Files!

We started watching the first season yesterday and are about to finish it up tonight.

She loves the show... and I love that I have someone to share my giddiness with!

lol - Honestly I am slightly jealous of her because she is seeing the X-Files for the first time.

It is funny though knowing when all the "scary" parts are so when they happen she like freaks out lol. Ahhh good times.
