My favorite part is watching people react for the first time to Mulder's one- liners.

SCULLY: Snake handling. I didn't learn that in catechism class.

MULDER: That's funny. I knew a couple of Catholic schoolgirls who were expert at it.

or

Esther: Are you gonna take these cuffs off or do I have to do this with my tongue?
Byers, Langly and Frohike stare, eyes wide...
Mulder: You don't want to take a vote.

Scully: Is that why you are interested in this case?

Mulder: That, and I was always intrigued by women named B. J.

Scully: *eyeroll*

:p

Oh I got a 93% on the test, too.

Who is Mulder's biological father?

Smoking man or Mr. Mulder?

I said smoking man.. only cuz of the evidence through Agent Spender etc. Even though I consider mr mulder to really be his dad.

What did ya'll put for that

It's CSM. CSM is Jeff's father, and Mulder is Jeffs half- brother... therefore CSM is Mulder's father. We had a huge discussion about that on the haven.

By the way, you realize that Emily is played by two different kids in those two episodes?

My roommate just finished up with the first two eps of season 9. It's interesting to see her reactions to everything that went on.

I told her what happened to William and to the Lone Gunmen and she always flipped her lid she was so pissed. Ahhh yes, SCREW YOU CHRIST CARTER.

Anyhoo, I've decided that I really like Doggett. He wanted nothing more than to find Mulder for Scully. Even though he didn't believe in all that strange stuff, he still believed in Scully and in his abilities. He's no Mulder, but I think under different circumstances (ie - not being forced into the role to replace Mulder), his character really could have worked. A lot of episodes in 8 and 9 reflected this.

Anyway, now that I've gone through the season again, I'm kinda like "eh.. what now?"

Gosh I really want an XF2.... :(

Brand new double-dip X-files news...

Not to be left out of the TV gold rush, 20th Century Fox has announced a 4-disc The X-Files: Abduction set for 5/17 (SRP $39.98), including 16 of the series' classic alien "mythology" episodes from the first three seasons in full frame video with Dolby Digital 2.0 Surround audio. Extras will include audio commentaries on select episodes, along with part one of Chris Carter's all-new Threads of Mythology documentary. We suspect this means you can look forward to a second collection of "mythology" episodes on DVD later in 2005.
