Including a cat named Murphy who was allergic to his own skin and who I took to the kitty dermatologist even though it cost me a fortune and the kitty dermatologist bought an Eddie Bauer Explorer on Murphy-profits alone and that included the blood samples he sent to Switzerland, for pitty's sake, because usually cats who are allergic to their own skin don't have owners as loving as (ahem!) myself!

2.) I consider Rock-A-Billy to be the greatest American art form. Phil is my favorite Everly Brother.

3.) Every morning I wake up thinking "Shoot! That Shane H. is the most handsome man in America." (Remember here, I'm a girl. )

Well, I also have a border collie named Spike who was my Dad's dog and who was trained to herd sheep by listening to a series whistles because my Dad's grandfather was Amish and that's what they do. And who goes nuts whenever the ref blows a whistle while we're watching a game on TV because he's never quite figured out that TV and real life aren't the same thing.

And I've seen you in the faces of 60,000 football fans as they stream into the greatest football stadium in the world, a stadium known as UoP, to watch a game that God gave us because he loves us. I've seen you on the face of a quarterback who has thrown up a Hail Mary and has seen the ball caught in the endzone with six seconds left on the clock by the wide receiver everyone wanted to trade and which ends the game and puts us in the play-offs. I've seen you as you fire up your grill before the game to cook the best damn brats in the country. I've seen you wipe a tear from your eye when you see the little Black child and the little White child exchanging high-fives when they decide their dad's are the greatest guys in the world for taking them to the game.

How's that? Enough, I hope, because I'm pooped.

No but I saw Roman Gabriel play John Waynes son in a movie called THE UNDEFEATED with Rock Hudson and Merlin Olsen was in it too.Gabriel although Phillipino played an adopted indian son named Blue Boy who was the hero of the movie.

Dang! You know I'm originally an L.A. girl. I will love Roman Gabriel until the day I die. I remember seeing "The Undefeated" with my dad and he couldn't stand seeing Rock Hudson in with The Duke and Roman and Merlin. He complained about it all the way home.
