But the key is that they do it. They dont have to. Plus what do you mean by media? Was there a news story on it in the valley?

Darren Urban is media.

No, they don't have to...but they sure don't want to pay it all in taxes, either.

jeez... all this foreplay... Will you two just make out already and get it over with!!!!

hehe, just kiddin. (hides from DCR)

I agree with you LB, this was my favorite part of the article too:

Sometimes, it’s not even an event. Safety Adrian Wilson

quietly donated more than $30,000 of adidas shoes to the Hamilton School, with principal Mishay Tribble saying the kids there would have a special time set aside to get their new footware.

I just thank God that these famous figures are doing something to help out the less fortunate, for what ever their reasons. Some family's in our neighborhood pick out a needy family and we all join together to try and bring some happiness to them at this time of year. I am not sure what the motives are of my neighbors but all I know is that it does help someone in their time of need.

Thanks to all the Cardinals and everyone else that goes out of their way to help those less fortunate.

I finally had an epiphany. I really thought that all posters were crazy Cardinal fans like myself but I have seen the opposite. A bunch of wannabe realists who think they know everything. Just like when I played ball and there were always haters around...didn't have the balls to step on the field but they would play fantasy football and criticize every play without understanding the nuances of the game.

and yes Shane, I love my soapbox. Why don't you go arrest someone for having a heart and not blindly following unjust laws in an unjust land. Get on with your bada** self. Go control the world...I know you love it...control.

What?!? This makes absolutely no sense to me. Are you even in the right thread?

Also, I'm giving you a warning about personal attacks. We don't accept them around here.

Fine...delete yours.

It was not personal and it is obvious that there are and always will be double standards here. You can criticize and degrade players or other human beings...even go as far as to coldly say they deserve death...that is O.K.!

You are right, it doesn't make sense to you.

but I, accept your warning and will try to start weaning myself off of this message board.

GOOOOOOOOOOOO CARDSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS

Shane. I apologize for not appreciating your thoughts on Chris Henry. You didn't directly say that he deserved to die and you actually said he didn't...my bad.

"Not so much. Lets be honest out of all thew NFL players if I had to choose one that would likely die at a young age? Yup Henry would have been at the top of my list. Or at least in the top 10.

Dude is far from a model citizen and I dont buy the whole "getting his life turned around" for much the same reason as Jon.

Its still sad and I don't think that he deserved to die. But at the same token its not somebody I'm putting on my prayer list either. I know this post will piss some people off. But quite frankly I dont care."

I have been warned and I will humbly and graciously end this.

Outside of my family, I have three passions; football, art and philosophy. I grew up in the town where the St. Louis Cards held training camp. I hung out with them at dinner, practice and they took me to movies and gave me free tickets to games. As a kid, this was an unforgettable situation that was personal and full of great memories. Earl Ferrell ate dinner at my home and was one of the nicest human beings I have ever known. What happened...cocaine...he was demonized and out of the league but to me....a great person. I am a very passionate person and I guess it has got the better of me in this situation.

Sorry to those offended and I am out.

No need to apologize to me my friend. It's all good! :)

Good for him. Now will you go vote for him Linderbee? :)

This is the stuff I like to read! 50 kids is awesome!

I think Dockett and Dansby are the two most important guys we need to resign. Boldin is third behind these guys. Docket in particular is a beast who would start for any team in the NFL. We cannot afford to lose him. He is part of the core group of players this team needs to grow around. Our best defensive player. If he goes FA he will get some major dollars. This will show us just how far our owners are willing to go to keep this team as a contender year after year. If we were to lose Dockett, Boldin, and Dansby over money we will become the old Cardinals. We must keep two out of the three.
