The play calling is uninspired to a fault

No screen passes, few play action, NO reverses or flea flickers. Our play calling is predictable: Just a drop back or a shot gun formation and running the ball up the guts, which when we're trying to run out the clock is an auto/three and out

I'm not giving up on the team but this uninspired play calling reminds me of the pre -Coryell teams. When I was a kid me and my brother could guess the plays about 70 percent of the time...and we were just dumb kids!

Kliff hustled the heck out of Keim with that "offensive genius" nonsense but he is what the Cardinals have at the moment.

it was posted in another thread. This is pretty much the second best cardinal offense in 30 years and our QB is having a historic year and top ten in every offensive category.

Enough with the play calling sucks.

Uh was this supposed to be posted two weeks ago? We just had over 500 yards last game?

LOL no...I moved to Vegas and could only catch the game after the 2 min warning. Futile running up the guts left them with enough time come back and score

I'm haunted by the time we lost a Super Bowl by leaving Big Ben time

I will take this offense over the McCoy version anyday. But I do tend to remember more of the questionable play calls than the good ones. Human nature I guess

Agreed, but I bet there's 100 offensive plays in the play book and we are only using about 5 of them

These “16-0 or sad/mad” fans gotta go.

Seems like everyone that never played sports gets massively butthurt when we lose a game or two.

What was Larry supposed to do on that 43 yard crossing route TD? Lay down & not score lol? That SB still haunts me also but come on man.

I'm not the biggest fan of Kliff's JV style offense, but he's been much better recently. There's actually been motion and misdirection. Wr's are finally being moved around and not asked to run the same routes over and over. They miraculously ran a PA rollout, which was unheard of before. Pass plays over 10 yards. So, definitely an improvement over the preschool offense they were running before.

I looked at the clock and thought...a knee at the one would would guarantee a win (3 tries for run plays and then the 95% FG on 4th)
