Will this guy ever turn the corner? He's made some good catches and shown some stuff, but then he pulls a boneheaded play like the dropped pass in the endzone that hit him in the hands. I want to believe that he's our future at TE, but he's not helping me believe.

Everybody drops a pass once in a while. I think that's his first in 2 years. He and Patrick look like a great tamdem. Have 6TDs this year combined. Rather have them than Vernon Davis who hasn't been the awesome can't miss prospect everyone expected.

Definitely agree with you on VD - he's been vastly overrated. Glad I didn't draft him on my fantasy team like I was hoping to be able to do.

pope had ZERO penalties.
and pope's drop cost us ZERO points, because we still ended up scoring a td 2 plays later.

He is just a kid and is still growing. If he can stay healthy and play this year and next, IMO the third year he can be a top TE. That being said he still has a long way to go. He needs top play every down like it's his last.

I'll join. Seeing as how we have a few positions to fill during the offseason I really think that we need to take a chance on what we have and just stick with it. If a good TE falls into our lap in FA or later in the draft, of course take him, but I think that we need to address a few other positions and have faith that what we have at TE is improving.

#1 ON my list is free safety. Terrence Holt cannot be starting next season. Never thought I'd be missing Robert Griffin this much.

If we move Antrell to FS (and there are indications from the FO that we will), keep Holt for depth and acquire help at CB (draft & FA) I think that our defense would be much improved.

Jurblecki said, after the Bengals game, that the front office was thinking about that move after the season is over. I think that joeshmo posted it.

I may have missed something but I haven't heard from Pope in two games about being flagged for offsides. I think this is HUGE ! I also liked seeing him blocking on running plays. I see MUCH improvement the last two games. If he keeps it up, count me on board.

It was in training camp when asked by a reporter about Rolle being moved to free safety after he was benched. Wiz stated that he has thought about it and if the team had better CB depth he would give it more of a thought, but since we dont have CB depth it was going to happen.
