Watched this the other night - enjoyed it, but glad I waited for the DVD.

Ugh, just watched this on DVD. Easily the worst movie I have seen all year.

It felt like three sub-par episodes crammed together and the funny removed. I am not a die-hard Simpsons fan, so maybe that was the problem. I usually find the show funny.

it was surprisingly lame. Guess not everything can be the Golden Girls. They should have made a movie.

I've probably seen it about 10 times as the kids watch it all the time. It does feel like crammed together episodes, and that was the purpose.

There were a couple funny lines in the movie for sure.

WAY too much of Homer being outcast from the family. How is that funny?

Prolly everyone else but me found it funny.

Do your kids like the part with Bart's full frontal?

So it's hit one of the movie channels (which one? dunno, doesn't matter).

This feels a little like MST3K: The Movie for me.

I didn't really feel like the movie compared to the best of the TV show on the first viewing.

On the second viewing it got a little funnier.

Third even more so (the third time was an accident, I didn't want to watch it, but I didn't really turn the channel either).

MST3K the movie in time, turned out to be one of my favorites. Will the Simpson do the same? (no)

My point is that it did get funnier after the first time.
