After reading through many of the threads I have come to the conclusion there are many posters here that have either drank to much or are blithering idiots. I'm going to give the benefit of the doubt while cooler heads prevail and hangovers dissapate.

Whiz sucks.
Boldin sucks.
We stink.
Bench this guy.
Cut that guy.

Ridiculous. Undoubtedly , we played a bad game. Circle the wagons guys. This is the same team that was 7-3 last week playing the most brutal part of our schedule traveling across the country on 3 days rest.

Get a grip.
Goodnight.

They've won how many division titles since when?

The sky has fallen a long time ago my friend.

Only stupid mindless loyalty keeps me watching this garbage but to each his own and goodnight.

You are right. We should all be happy with the team not showing up on national TV and getting totally embarrassed. A potential division cliching game. Something we haven't done since 1975.

I don't need to be drunk to get upset at this loss.

Good night.

Problem is this - besides the Dallas game, who have we REALLY BEATEN. We're just a scosh better than the 49ers , so far as I really see. If we're not in the west - we're not a playoff team in the NFC! That's the reality.

The next TWO home games become critical, especially the Vikings game. If this team can't win that one at home it is not really a playoff team , just a pretender. They need to win that CONVINCINGLY.

This team can not run and can be run over it seems. Watson and the DE's were not effective keeping philly's OL off the LB's and into the 2nd/3rd levels. That will have to be rectified, because against the Giants this D gave up gobs of yards on first downs as well. They are not creating turnovers because they are playing undisiplined too often. How are you not going to account for Westbrook coming out of the backfield? !:pullhair:

And how long has it been since we won on the East Coast? I was embarrased by the performance but expected one like that due to history. We get the Rams next. So we'll get back on track.

What if they win 24-23? You won't be satisfied? What if the Cards lost last night 27-24? Would you have been happier?

The reality is we ARE a playoff team in the NFC. At least i think that's the Cardinals who will hosting a playoff game.

They will be hosting a playoff game for winning the West, but whether they are a playoff worthy team is yet to be determined. having home field the first game will definately help though.

And the game wasn't close, so what's the point?! Leinart would have probobly kept that game closer than Warner did...not that I'm advocating Leinart now.

I would have been much happier. It would have shown some competitiveness and some heart. This blowout has us now labled as pretenders and not contenders.

Thank you NY! That's the reason everyones so p.o.d today. All week, I'm telling any eagles fan that will listen, that we're a better team than them, and we're coming into this game to make a statemen. Then what happens? We totally don't show up for the most important game of the season, and get manhandled in the process. The same team, that could barely score a point against the Beangals and Browns, lights it up like a pinball machine against our defense.

Every team has a stretch where they don't play well and one,or two, games where they lay an egg.Who cares what the media labels us? Two weeks ago the Cowboys, and TO, were done. Now they're the only team that can beat the Giants. And that's after beating SF and Sea.

We all need to stop drinking the poisoned kool-aid, we're getting to the point where we can only support our team if they win. All teams have bad games, it's just that we seem to have ours on National TV. Now you know why fans aren't allowed to carry guns during the game. We wouldn't have too many players left with some of you guys. :)

The whole point to me is we weren't competitive. It was a disgrace. A hard fought loss would have been tough but asking these guys to show up is not too much to ask.

You expected them to quit before the game even started? I certainly didn't. I wasn't sure they would win but I thought the effort would be there. They were making excuses before the game which is inexcusable.

You are missing the point. At least my point. If they show up and play hard last night and lose so be it. What I witnessed brought back horrible memories of Cardinal teams of the past. I really thought we had turned the corner.

Unfortunately, it was the Eagles who turned our Corners last night to the tune of 4 TDs...:bang:

Work in progress. We are getting better (anyone want to argue that point?).

We're not a complete team... yet. We completely screwed up that game from all sides of the ball (coaching, offense, defense, and ST) - we have major work to do.

What was unforgivable about yesterday's game was the "Oh well" attitude we all saw on TV. If the Cards didn't want to play the game, they should have had ASU go in their place.

This was a tired team. They had no legs and a player can't go when slow. The Eagles had a short week as well. But they were home didn't have to play The Giants the week before. Had something to prove as did the Cards. But when was the last time Q lost 3 balls? When was the last time our D wasn't stout against the run.

Yes it was ugly to watch. But hey we have 4 winnable games ahead. IMO we will win at least 3. That's 10 wins. Who wouldn't have had a party if you knew before the season that we would win 10! We are going to have a HOME playoff game! These are all firsts in Arizona. On top of all this we will fix our running game, it just might wait till next season. Wiz is to goood of a coach to let that linger.

At the risk of sounding like a Care Bear, what I saw last night was a team that appeared to be exhausted. If I'm pissed off at anyone, it is at the NFL for scheduling a cross-country game after 3 days rest against a non-divisional foe.

And personally, I think that worrying about how this team is perceived by the media, my friends or someone I don't know in a bar says a lot more about me than it does about the team.

Seriously, I agree with you on several points - it was a short week, it was a road game in the east, it was a hard game...

However, what chaps me most is that:
1) We had a crappy game plan, and failed to adjust (coaching);
2) The team appeared to have a dazed look in their eye; just appeared to write the game off;
3) The problems that are plaguing this team are continuing to persist that could be corrected in the week's practice (tackling, staying in lanes, different offensive / defensive looks).

JTS, we're coasting right now, and we're going to get our butts handed to us in the next 3 of 4 games if we continue to do so.

SOMEONE has got to light a fire under the Cards collective asses.

They should just stay home with that attitude. It was a night game for one and the Eagles just got killed by Baltimore on Sunday. Sorry, no excuse to not even present at all in this one. Losing is one thing but last night was a disgrace. As for the media, I do hate hearing same old Cardinals after a game like this. Especially when it is justified.

I'm wondering if maybe the team put too much into the "road to the division title goes through Seattle" and have let off the gas since winning that game, especially with the 4 game lead. I know it should never happen but it does.

The question now is can the team turn it back on for the stretch run. 3-1 with a close loss at NE and everything will be wonderful in Car*inal land.

I also wonder how the Car*s will play Seattle if the seeds are already set.
