Hopefully when K9 looks at the coaches tape, he can pull out a couple good and bad plays for Potter so we can really know to have a little hope at the position or not.

My goodness, if Potter could hold up at LT what that would mean for the franchise.

Its one game, and no one has really taken a 2nd look at the tape yet.

One can hope tho.

He played like the book on him says he will play. He struggled with power and gave up pressure vs Matthews inside move at least once I saw. That being said, he has good feet which you could see during the game and was able to recover which allowed him to hold up pretty well.

I'm not K9 or coaches tape, but I will be looking it over this evening because I feel our OTs did pretty well today.

I thought he played great for his first game - a few plays I thought he was going to fail, like trying to keep up with a LB (on the tipped ball from behind) - but he adjusted well and seemed to solidify over the course of the game.

Again, only one game, but you could see an improvement in the offense with him in there.

I didn't pay enough attention to his play but when I don't notice our tackles that's a good thing. I definitely saw him holding clay on an inside move that didn't get called though.

Matthews is also a LB. If we can block DE's....THEN i'll start worrying about blocking a LB.

He's a rush linebacker and he leads the NFL in sacks, what's your point. Cam Wake is 'just a linebacker', how'd that work out again?

He kept his hands inside so the ref didn't call it. He was able to keep his hands inside because he has great feet and was shuffling with Matthews.

I expect to see Potter and Floyd (over Doucet) from here on out. I would not be shocked to see Senio by the end of the year.

Massie had his best game in awhile. I think he has always been a pretty good run blocker. Once he improves in the pass protection part of the game, he'll be a very good RT.

He will play even better when Levi Brown is playing next to him. :D

Just let me have my fun alright

Massie was pretty good this game. He started very poorly, but picked it up as the game progressed. One thing I was shocked to see is he doesn't play very physically strong. He gets pushed around a lot for a guy his size, and I think you will see a huge improvement if he works to improve his strength over the offseason. Also could be a technique issue.
