The trade we need to make this offseason

Newbie here (I love this site by the way)...

...while Artest is certainly a phenominal talent, he's one of those guys who just seems to always make bad choices (ie Vick, Tyson, etc)...

...besides, I think it would take more to get him (there are rumors that Denver is trying to do a deal that would include Kenyon Martin)...

...as long as we're dreaming I'd make a play for Jermaine O'Neal...he's unhappy about his team's recent trade and supposedly wants to go to New York (but it's doubtful NY has anything of value to offer in return)...

...he wouldn't be cheap, but Amare and O'Neal would make a sick twin towers.

It's generally assumed here and elsewhere the Suns will have zero interest in O'Neal because of his total lack of mobility. Furthermore, all of O'Neal's skills come with his back to the basket, which would only clog the lane if he played with Stoudemire. So ... it's just not a good basketball move any way you look at it.

The Suns would love to find a 6-11 athletic shot blocker that could pass the ball out of the high post and hit the occasional 18-footer. Short of that, the Suns will settle for a reasonably athletic power forward that can add something valuable to the frontline rotation.

Oh come on, we get so many bizzare trade proposals it is beyond comprehension. This one is just bad, but I've seen many dozens that are purely insane.

This is crazy...ARTEST? Why not Mike Tyson while we are at it. He is OUT OF HIS FREAKIN MIND. He is the man when he is on and he has freaky talent but at the end of the day....He is Ron Artest.....although it would be interesting to see what he would have done to Horry if he was there last night...
