Someone over at AVS says that this will work. Pretty annoying workaround. Still even for a few bucks, I'd rather just use the money I have in my XB account versus hitting the CC.
if you dont have a 360, I can login as you on mine, make the purchases you want and log back out. No problem.

With this working, its still weird you cant do it online but whatever.

I still have two 360s at home. I can't use one of them for this because I can't access the gmail account I made many moons ago, so I don't dare sign out! :hairraise

My spare in the bedroom should work fine for this, but I really appreciate the offer, BRR.

Darn, I really wanted to go into online as jaysweenie and yell "look at me look at me" in the mic

Far Cry 5 will take place in Hope County, Montana. Biblebelt. Cows and prairie-ville.

and I am STOOOOOOKED about it. I dont know why, but I havent been this pumped for a video game in a very long time.

I love the Far Cry series, but I think its just the setting. Name 1 other game that takes place in a pasteur....None. Only thing I can think of close might be Red Dead Redemption. Which is an all-time great game. But this isnt a western. Its a modern setting...just in Montana.

Ive been so desensitized by every game rehashing the same old world settings, that finally we get something truly new and unique, that I could not be more excited.

Purchasing the games with my points through the 360 worked like a charm. I was playing them on the Xbone within a few minutes.

Forget moving forward, you need to go backward.

Primal is by far the worst Far Cry. Its quite literally the Rocky 5 of Far Cry games. We fans pretend it didnt happen.

You need to play:

Far Cry 2 - Takes place in Africa. Slightly dated at this point but its the "COD4" of the reborn Far Cry series. The original game with the new format for which all games after it are based.

Far Cry 3 - Takes place on a tropical island. Really where Far Cry spreads its wings. Essentially the Modern Warfare 2 of Far Cry. Improves upon the original.

Far Cry 4 - Takes place in like Tibet. My personal favorite. Darn near perfect game.

Its not a linear, connected story so you can play any game in any order you want. Personally I recommend 3 and 4, for sure. A+ both.

Ive thought about getting 4, my only concern is what I liked about primal so much was the setting. I'm not sure I will like it as much when its a normal shooter, I liked being a caveman.

I also enjoy rudimentary killing. In all shooters I never upgrade to the giant blasty guns. Its boring to me.

I almost exclusively use the recurve bow+arrow in both Far Cry 3 and 4. Its really, really fun. Ups the difficulty and creates a funner atmosphere of danger. If you shoot an arrow at somebody and miss, now youre in trouble

If you guys like Far Cry, you will definitely like Horizon Zero Dawn. Very much in the same mold as FC, Tomb Raider, but with a better story. I'm digging it right now. PS4 exclusive.

Well, you could just become a day 1 every-console-ever-made purchaser like someone else around here.... :)
If I had the time I probably would! I do plan on buying a Scorpio though because I'm a fool

I'm hoping they let my Games share to all the consoles instead of me having to sell one of them. Then I'd have an Xbox in my room along with both living rooms

I sure hope so as well. Scorpio will be my 3rd Xbox One.

Yeah me too. Otherwise I'll be seeing my day one edition. You can play all your games on any Xbox you log into but we wouldn't be able to use all three at the same time which would kind of defeat the purpose for me with the kids

I woke up this morning.....still fired way up for Far Cry: Biblebelt.

Ive only purchased 1 item at midnight release all my life...Red Dead Redemption. this might be the 2nd item. And RDR2 will be the 3rd.

Maybe not coincidentally they are all western type games.

Introducing Xbox Game Pass: Unlimited Access to More Than 100 Games

http://news.xbox.com/2017/02/28/introducing-xbox-game-pass/
It looks like Xbox Game Pass has gone live, but the list of games doesn't interest me. I already own pretty much everything in the list that I would've wanted to play... I guess it would be good for new Xbox owners.

http://www.xbox.com/en-us/games/xbox-game-pass?ocid=GamePass_sem_pmc_pma_BNG_DR-DirectResponse_xbox game pass

Scroll down to the Game Pass Games section & sort by A-Z to see the full list of games.

a LOT of games with gold in there. Would be really cool if I just bought my first xbox today.

But having gold and downloaded games with gold over the years yeah...I own almost all of these.

For anyone interested in Xbox Game Pass, you can get it free in 12 month increments from Microsoft/Bing Rewards for 29,000 points.

It'll take you about 2-3 months of doing their daily searches (PC & mobile) & quizzes to earn enough points. 29,000 points is the equivalent of about $30 in gift cards so they're offering it a hell of a lot cheaper than the standard $10/month ($120/yr) cost if you subscribe to it. It takes me maybe 5 minutes/day to get all of the Microsoft Rewards points available & there's roughly 300 points available/day... 250 in searches once you're a level 2 member (very easy) & another 50 in quizzes & links to click on the Microsoft Rewards page. They occasionally send emails with another bonus 50 points for clicking on links or doing a quiz. Also, accessing Microsoft Rewards from the Edge browser will earn you more points with bonus quizzes & points just for using it as your browser.

The searches go really quickly if you go to the Rewards page & click on PC Search, which takes you to Bing News... that page has a ton of menus for Top Stories, US News, World News, Local News, Sports, Politics, etc etc. I just click on all the sections at the top (US News) & then click on the sub-menus (South, Northeast, Midwest, West) for each section. By the time you get halfway through all the Sports then you've completed the daily searches on your PC. There's a Rewards points counter right on the page so you can tell when you've earned all your search points because the points stop going up. They have a Bing app for your phone where you can do the same thing.

Thanks, I was able to get Zoo Tycoon free. It should download in English to your Xbox. They just offer different free Games with Gold in other countries sometimes.

Edit: my 2 yr old daughter really enjoyed the up-close interactions with the animals. You can hand feed elephants & giraffes, wash rhinos & elephants with a hose, play with monkeys, etc. The rest of the game is just ok... lots of repetitive tasks & picking up poop. One of the achievements is picking up 1000 pieces of poop.
