Loved it!!!!!! Except for the part of Rick's wife leaving. Too predictable.

I was hoping they would move off the farm, but of course Rick's ******** wife had to screw it up and get in a wreck guaranteeing a longer stay. I could do without her and the baby drama.

Wouldn't mind them finding her eaten the next episode. Her character has always annoyed me.

Yeah, I have that marked down as the stupid, time-consuming waste of a story thread happenstance that the show creators simply MUST stuff down our throats. Absolutely no reason for it, and it will keep this show from getting too good.

The rest of the episode was from all right to pretty good. They've won me for another episode, anyway. If it gets bogged down again, though, I'm out.

Love this show but I hate the entire baby drama crap as well. The wife is annoying and they are going to drag this story line out the entire season.

"Good night, Westley. Good work. Sleep well. I'll most likely kill you in the morning."

Nice. One of the most quotable movies of all time.

I don't think you've met me in real life, Pariah. I'm a rather...tall, large, broad-shouldered guy. One of my nicknames? The Brute Squad, of course.

"Sleep well, and dream of large women."

I thought it was an interesting episode. The scene with the leg was pretty cool and I think they are building up for some good action in the next few episodes.

They were going to try a field amputation with a pocket knife while surrounded by walkers, but yanking him off the fencepost in two seconds like they eventually did was considered out of the question until they had to leave? That was a stupid bit of TV logic, IMO. (and, moreover, it sounds like he's keeping his leg after all).

Also, why the hell was the wife so adamant that someone had to go get Rick? He left to get Hershell and would be back as soon as he could. It's not like the plan was to go get drunk with him at the bar.

Don't get me wrong--I enjoy the show quite a bit; I'm no Stout (;)), but there were some headscratchers in the first couple of eps.

Yeah that really didn't make any sense to me. It wasn't like they were running late or anything, when she took the car it was still daylight. I could have understood if she was worried after it got late at night (they did spend the night there after all). I can't stand the wife anyways, terrible character, needs to be offed.

Kinda bad when the person you root against is the hero's wife and not the zombies. lol

I could also go for watching Carl and Sophia's mom (who suspciously looks just like Carl) get zombified too.

Hopefully the catatonic lady in the house is in the midst of transforming into a zombie and gets some bites in before she gets killed.

That was kind of dumb. Agreed.

I count the days to the tragic death of this main character.

Agreed but the show is still awesome. Nothing like it on TV right now. I think part of the problem is being stuck on the damn farm. Seriously, maybe that is the way they are saving money on production but I also think it is limiting the story lines and impacting the writing. The faster they move along the better.

I think the writers are trying to place the characters under high stress situations that they just aren't able to cope with! Hence the stupid plan to amputate instead of telling the kid to buck-up and on the count of three they pull his leg off the fence.

I don't like it but I can kind of understand it I guess...

Also, there are more chiefs in this group than indians which is just bound to cause problems...

I agree that there were some head scratchers there, but at least they aren't turning into season-long stupidity arcs, like before. I thought they were going to have to 'find' the wife. So far, as bad as the first half of the season was, we're finally getting payoff in this half with a good tempo.

Great episode last night. I went to bed after the epsiode and had dreams full of zombies. It was actually pretty exciting. Unfortunately, I acutally hit my girlfriend in the face while I slept as I fought off a zombie attack. She was not pleased.

Did anyone figure out the significance of the two dead police officers not having any bite wounds. It seemed insignificant, but the way they focused on it twice, they had to be foreshadowing something. Is the virus transmitted through other means than blood/saliva? Is it airborne, or is everyone already infected? I wonder if it has something to do with what the CDC guy whispered to Rick prior to the building blowing-up. Any theories?

Yes but only because I already read the comic

Loved it as well. As to your theory, had not thought that much into it, but I think you are 100% on.

I was thinking the same thing. There is something to do this. Something coming up. Can't wait. This episode was more on track with why I like the show.

I wouldn't count on the comics too much. Considering that by now, in the comics, they would have found the prison already and Shane was already turned and Rick had lost his hand. They're going out of left field now.
