In a way I found that Michonne's character development was a little abrupt. I suppose if anyone knows you "can be out here too long," it's her. But she's never been one to make these kinds of arguments before--and normally was as suspicious as Rick is now. There's nothing wrong with it, but the support for it IIRC was mostly that she just kept saying it over the past couple of episodes. Am I forgetting something?

Two good cliffhangers the last two weeks. Aaron's appearance reminded me a lot of Henry Gale (and I'm not alone in that). Since they are now in Alexandria I'm guessing that we are about to encounter the Saviors that people have mentioned from the source material. Though of course the show has already teased that with the crosses on the hospital's cars... Either way I'm sure something bad is behind those walls.

I haven't read the source materials, but I am wondering whether the main cast is getting recruited into one side of a conflict that may be going on in Alexandria. Aaron led them to believe they just needed more "people", presumably to help slay the zombies, but I think you are right, there is probably something else going on.

Boom! One of my favorite episodes! I was totally intrigued the whole time like, what's gonna happen man...
For a second I thought Rick really was buying in. Then he drops; "And if they cant make it, then we'll just TAKE this place." And Daryl's little sly grin, man that was like one of my favorite Walking Dead moments to date! I was like YEAH RICK! haha

Agreed on your spoiler, I like that scene along with the scene when Rick bit the dudes neck. Awesome.

Enjoyed these past two episodes a lot. I haven't read the comics, so I am totally in the dark as to what could happen (and want it to stay that way).

I do like the conflict that is happening internally - they WANT a safe place, but have every reason to be suspicious.

So where did the army evacuate everyone to?

I agree, this was a very enjoyable episode. I also loved Carol's video.

The last line and Daryl's look was AWESOME. Agree with the above.

Makes for some intriguing possibilities.

In my view, they can't actually let the entire Grimes Gang go bad, so I assume that if they do take the town, it'll be because they were forced to because:

a) it's some sort of trap that Deanna is unveiling.
b) some of Deanna's people go rogue.
c) some of the Grimes gang go rogue.

The last seems unlikely to me unless it's a weaker character giving into something (e.g. Gabriel). The middle seems very likely (Aiden and the stylist's husband have been set up as potential menaces), and perhaps it could be a case of a few members of each side staging some sort of coup.

The danger being a trap orchestrated by Deanna seems less likely to me, since it would be too much of a repeat of Terminus. But that doesn't mean she can't be an opponent. Maybe the trap is to manipulate them into fighting a third rival.

All speculation, of course. They managed to stay on Herschel's farm for like 1000 years with only a major interpersonal conflict and one run-in with another group...

Don't forget about the radio news reports about the group that has been going around viciously attacking humans like what happened to Will's family. Also, something is going on with the someone or something putting a W on the walker's head that Rick killed.

I have some problems with the plot in the last episodes.

Before they got to this community basically the whole feeling around the group was that they are sick of travelling around and want to find a place to settle down.
But as soon as they find it they are clearly looking for trouble already.

Find their own place to settle. And I would say being cautious, not outright looking for trouble. (Yet)

Agreed.
They still don't trust these people and my thinking is that they want to be armed just in case. Sasha doesn't think the compound is very secure, metal wall or not. The kid is going to blab. I see this happening.

Rick and Carol turning to the dark side is fun. That scene with Carol and the little kid was twisted!

I'm still trying to figure out what Aiden shot on that zombie soldier. Was it a concussion grenade? If so, it shouldn't have caused much more damage. If it was a frag grenade, that alone would have killed anyone in close proximity. Also, I don't think it's possible to simply shoot a hole in a grenade. I've held one and they're freaking thick and heavy. It seemed so strange that whole sequence.

I saw a replay of that scene in Talking Dead, and it appeared to be a concussion grenade. It has a lot less thicker shell than a frag, and has more overall explosive power than a frag, since it's relying on the explosion rather than the fragmentation for injuries and kills.
