In the comics Negan looks way different to me. He is a big dude like Abraham.

The actor that plays Negan is good, but I have had a problem with his physical looks. Plus in the comics Negan says things worse than on TV. He puts everything in creepy sexual terms in the comics.
Ya but he also drops 10million F-bombs in the comic too. It's AMC not HBO lol. I think that's why JDM plays him soooo over the top because he's supposed to be basically this foul mouthed raving lunatic, but that's hard to do on regular TV, even cable.

Have they ever dropped an F bomb on this show? They should have whoever finally kills Negan say something corny and awesome like; Strike 3 mother ******er!

I do not remember an F bomb. If anyone would have done it it would have been Merl. I was telling my wife about Negan and how foul he is before he showed up on the show. I was wondering how AMC was going to handle that. There was one instance in the comics where Dwight or someone was trying to cozy up to Negan and said one of Negan's phrases to Negan about a situation, something like, "That gives me a hard on!" and Negan accused them of being a sick pervert. It was funny how they pulled it off in the comics.

I'm glad they toned him down in the show as far as the sexual language, I watch with my 15 year old daughter :)

I didn't think about that. Obviously Negan is not someone that treats women well.

No not at all and the stuff he does and comments he makes on the show are good enough to portray that IMO.

If you guys ever read the comics, The Governor is WAY worse than how he is portrayed in the AMC version. On the AMC show you wonder why Michone is so out to kill the Governor, and AMC makes it look like she is just jealous her girlfriend has a relationship with the Governor. In the comics you KNOW why she wants to kill the Governor. In the AMC version Rick and the Governor have a mental war with each other. In the comics, you KNOW why Rick hates the Governor. That Governor is not this semi-handsome guy all the women like that watch the AMC version. In the comics, no woman would ever like the Governor.

yeah I heard of some of the things that had to not be in the show, pretty brutal. I should get to the governor on my flight to hawaii. I have compendium one and 6 hours in the sky should help with it.

I dont really read outside of airplanes, can barely find time to do stuff and when I do I watch walking dead or play xbox.

The comic is very well done but I am way behind the show on purpose. Try to avoid any and all comic spoilers

Just stop before you get to the one where Carl turns and eats Judith. It's really sad. :p

The only thing worse than an Englishman doing an American accent is an American doing an English accent.

I want to take this moment to say that I hate that the decided spelling of meme is, meme. When I read it, I read Me me. Every time. It should be meem or something.

They have 3 Compendiums now! :) I am waiting for number 4, but that is probably a ways off.

I surprisingly enjoyed this episode more than I thought I would. I think it was because Morgan finally moved forward with his character and Carol started coming back. The fact that it took this long sucks, but at least it's finally here.

Negan's stand in is so much more interesting than Negan.

And that episode was pointless. I did like the scene between Maggie and Daryl. Otherwise... blegh.

Here's my biggest issue with the show. There are literally NO surprises in the overall arc. The season started with Rick beaten down... we figured the entire season would be Rick coming to realize he can't lie down and then round up enough troops to take on Negan. Well... guess what... that's exactly what happened. And it would be one thing if it was interesting... but it hasn't been. It's literally just been a waiting game for 16 EPISODES. And it would be one thing if this was all "the journey is more important than the destination"... but the journey has been boring AF.

The only surprise so far for me has been when Pacifist Guy (I can never remember his name) finally snapped and killed dude last week.

I guess you can figure it is boring. Not if you read the comics. There is so much stuff this season different than the comics. I watch the episodes and am like, wow! I really do not know how they are going to get everything to a closing point in just 2 episodes. So much left to do. I am expecting a big cliff hanger.

People are in different places, there are different peoples at this point, things are happening that did not happen in the comics, it's KAOS! LMAO.

I tend to agree. I find myself either falling asleep, literally, or being disappointed. The last 5 minutes was alright though.

The attempts to build the drama and friction between Eugene's two girlfriends fell flat. Not really worth spending that much of the storyline on.

Hopefully next week will have more action. I don't need constant action. But these 90% dialogue episodes are just killing me.

I am really torn about the next two episodes. There is so much that has to happen before taking on Negan, which may mean two episodes of talking. Or they are going to try and cram in so much, it will be non-stop action. I just do not see how they can go to war with Negan, AND come to a conclusion of the war, in just two episodes. I see a MAJOR disappointing cliff hanger coming!!!
