Baby, you can't taste racism!

lol That was probably the biggest LOL in that movie for me!

"Baby, you can't taste racism!"

Overall an inevitable disappointment that movie was, but it had it's moments!

I also liked; "I made fun of "Lord of the Rings" so hard, it made some supergeek puke all over the counter."

OMFG, I LOST it when I saw that movie. I mean, it was a funny movie anyway, but that part especially cracked me up, for obvious reasons.

MESA! :thud:
Factoid about Eguene. The actor, Josh Mcdermitt, is from Phoenix and went to Greenway Highschool just south of 39th and bell rd.

I didnt know that till the other day. Doesnt make me like him anymore tho
Greenway is at 39th Ave & Greenway...which I guess you could say is "just south" of Bell, but it's a full mile.

A FELLOW DEMON!! WOOOOO!! Too bad I graduated 6 years before he did.

3 famous alumni:

Jenny Garth - in the same class as me (sort of, she moved on to Apollo High before she graduated...rumored because everyone hated her. I dunno, she wasn't in my group)
Chester Bennington of Linkin Park
Josh McDermitt of TWD

Slightly less famous - Shannon Marketic, Miss USA 1992 (graduated with Brian)

Other than Carol's appearance, another boring episode. This is the 3rd one I have fell asleep in this season!!

Next week looks pretty good though.

I am past where the TV series is at in the comics. Some of these stories are completely different than the comics, so while they may be boring to you guys, from my viewpoint they have been pretty interesting. The TV Series follows the general timeline of the comics, so I know where this is going. However, the journey of how we get there is fun to see the more detail and the differences from the comic and how they eventually intertwine. In the book, getting the King to join the battle against Negan had a much simpler solution. The TV Series is a much more nuanced path to get the King to want to confront Negan. I am enjoying the hell out of these shows. My recommendation is reading the comics actually adds to the enjoyment of the show rather than ruining the show.

Eugene is quite the character. The TV show is just getting into the Dwight story. You know someday he is going to want to kill Negan. Who wouldn't with what Negan has done to him? I like at the end when Dwight and Eugene are together, and it seems Dwight is trying to feel out Eugene and where he stands with Negan, and Eugene just blurts out the he IS Negan. LOL. Negan has people so freaking scared, you don't dare not say you are Negan!

If you mean "who" as in the viewer, well, I'm sure most viewers figured that Jared would shoot someone besides Richard because the Saviors M.O. has often been like that (Glenn, Olivia, other "surprise" terror killings). Seemed unlikely it would be Ezekiel or Morgan (and maybe impossible if you've seen series previews they're in). And it was Benjamin who had just insulted Jared...so that's who I was expecting.

If you mean "who" as in the characters, well, Richard obviously. Which is emblematic of how much Ezekiel actually has shielded the Kingdom from the Saviors. Although we have to imagine that Negan killed someone to instigate things as he usually does: we haven't gotten that story as far as I know, or whether Richard was there (unless I'm forgetting something).

I was speaking of the audience.

I did like Morgan going nuts on Richard. Didn't see that coming. Not sure if I buy the set-up for it, but was at least a twist I didn't see coming for once.

When Morgan asked Ben "who was that girl" that was the kiss of death. Just like Abrahams death was signalled.

Michonne might be set up to follow soon.

I liked the kid but the more he was featured in the episode, the more I felt he was about to die.

I thought it was a good episode. I forgot how insane Morgan really is. When he was having the flashbacks I was like oh yeah and oh poo at the same time. Hopefully he finds a medium rather than going completely insane again. I didnt think strangling richard was necessary at that point but the guy had done so much wrong, maybe it was best. I love that the kingdoms funny guy wanders around with a battle axe. Carol training the kingdom is something I never considered and is a great storyline preluding to the war.

Morgan sharpening his stick at the end gave me goosebumps.

I guess next is oceanside, then the merger, then the war? I wish we could cancel FTWD and just have TWD all year.

When was the who was that girl moment?

When they were boarding the truck.

Morgan killed Richard infront of the Saviors on purpose in my opinion to do what Richard told him earlier, to gain their trust.

He could have killed Richard before but he specifically chose to do it right infront of them plus reveal Richard's plot to all of them.

Oh yeah dude, as soon as they started talking about a girl, then the little brother scenes I was like BYE BENJAMIN! You are super dead you just dont know it yet. :(

Yeah I actually thought it was really awesome. He did EXACTLY what Richard wanted to do, I think Richard just didn't realize that he would be the "extreme demonstration of loyalty" to regain their trust lol.

Negan looks bulimic
In the comics Negan looks way different to me. He is a big dude like Abraham.

The actor that plays Negan is good, but I have had a problem with his physical looks. Plus in the comics Negan says things worse than on TV. He puts everything in creepy sexual terms in the comics.
