They have finally bit the bullet and decided that Roesthlisberger will not be our pick at #3 but Larry Fitzgerald will be.
At #33, they have us taking Donnell Washington (DT) from Clemson.
All this time I've been leaning towards a CB at #33, but maybe a DT is the way to go. My thinking behind this is as follows: we can (if we want to ) land both Winfield and say Bryant or Plummer during FA (with any luck). Along with Starks and maybe, say, Wilson (if the experiment works), we would be in excellent shape at CB.
Outside of Robaire Smith, there really isn't "a sure fire, got have him" DT in FA.
If we apply our FA dollars at CB and say OG we might be able to focus on the D-Line at #33. Now Donnell is described as a "boom or bust" pick so maybe he's not the right one but the concept has merit IMHO.
