I was just about to write this off as kind of silly, but after seeing the quotes from the players in that article, you can tell it is kind of a big deal for them. Seems pretty obvious to let them have some fun with what they wear on the way in. Hopefully it doesn't cause any distractions and they can add another fun element for fans and players to engage in.
