Theme for this year

It's been stated several times that coaches and players read this board. I think one of the causes of our problems last year was Mac reading the thread that had about 100 "Nothing is over until we decide it is! Was it over when the Germans bombed Pearl Harbor? Hell no! " references. That may have been the cause of his refusal to put in the younger guys untill he was forced to and his comments that, "we're still in a position to win games" even when we so far out of the playoff race it was debatable if we would even be allowed to watch them.

So...what's the theme for this year? What message do we want to convey to DG, using the wit of Holleywood? As we all know the only proper way to communicate is with movie/tv quotes and 1 liners.

I'm not sure what theme would fit, but I still think that the word "playoffs" should be banned until we make them.

I agree, and I would ask Mike to add "playoffs" to the censored word list so it shows up as "*******" except that wouldn't be fair to the Suns fans.

Err what I really mean is that it wouldn't be fair to the fans of ASU basketball.

Nope, what I really mean is that the word "playoffs" can't be banned b/c of the Diamondbacks!

I'm not much for giving inspirational addresses. I'd just like to point out that every newspaper in the country has picked us to finish dead last. The local press seems to think that we’d save everyone a lot of time and trouble if we just went out and shot ourselves. Me, I'm for wasting sports-writers time.
