3 scoring drives for Hall and sweet run on that last one. He definitely makes the team.

If we had a true starting NFL QB on the team, I would say no. Given the circumstances, I am all-in.
I could defiantly see him getting a lot of playing time this year if things go south.

Make no mistake he's ready to start now, he won't but yeah he's that good.

If he did start right now, he'd have games where he got killed by doing that but he seems to be super duper smart, I don't think he's the type that would take a real long time to learn the position and all the tricks that go with playing it very well.

What he has is uncoachable, he's got it.

I'd be surprised very much if at some point in the next two years he's not our starter.

The one saving grace about DA is that he's easily beatable, he will not play well enough to hold down any real threats IMO.

If Hall was built like Skelton he would have been a top 10 pick.

It's funny how Leinart has been forgotten so soon...woot.

Oh I don't think anyone's forgotten but it's over, no point in worrying about it now.

Nothing anyone can do is going to change anything now, he's going to be cut and I'd bet a nickle someone in our division picks him up just for the playbook.

Only chance that won't happen is if someone wants him for more than a backup and this year that's not going to happen.

Damn! Hall is BALLIN'!!!!

He looks like a Jeff Garcia replica out there. That pass down the middle to Alphonso Smith was BEAUTIFUL! Hall tossed that ball on a rope BEFORE Smith broke away from the defenders and the muddle in the middle. That was some serious field vision and timing working right there on that play....

You basically just anointed him a solid #1 NFL QB with that post. Entirely to premature! Playing against #1 NFL defenses and their speed actually game planning to stop him? He likely looks lost and gets completely hammered. I like him but lets not jump the gun here!

I apologize for not being as pumped on Hall as most of you. It's just that I have watched a lot of him over the last few years. I have seen him throw 5 interceptions against Utah, complete 37% of his passes the other time playing against Utah, turn the ball over 5 times against Florida State, throw an interception his first drive of the East West Shrine game, and struggle each time they played TCU. In almost every game against strong competition he struggled.

I also saw him absolutely dominate the likes of Air Force, UNLV, Wyoming, Colorado State, etc.

Therefore, it's hard for me to get over-excited about Hall carving up 3rd and 4th team defenses with no game plan.

He seems to lock into his receiver. He isn't looking anyone off, but yeah, let's start him.

I really disagree. The reason the guys he throws to seem so open is that either the qb is setting up the safety with his eyes or the qb is reading the safety/coverage and going to the right wr.

I think it's a strength of his.

Jake was playing well his 2nd year, this kid is way more seasoned and mature than Jake ever was.

I stand by what I said.

It's all about the brains and ability at the position, he's at the edge of being good enough ability wise but he has enough, and he's very smart, while he might get knocked around learning the real NFL he'd be alright long term.

It's not gonna take long for DA to wear out everyone on him and then who's it going to be?

Sure. I guess that happens every time he drops back. He looks good. I'm with Shane here though. He hasn't seen any firsts. Trust me, I want him to be good. I want DA to be good. I want Leinart and Whiz to kiss and make up and Leinart to be good.

So basically you want one of the QBs to be good so the team can be good..right? I am right there with you.

Just cus you stand by it doesn't make it so. It's just a completely off the wall opinion. But you are obviously entitled to it.
