Ah ha!! A Section 11 drive-by posting. Once again, common sense and good manners prevail. A sorely needed diversion in the land of unbelievers.
I feel that's the sentiment in NE as well. And it gives us somewhat of an advantagePlaying NE in NE is the bain of the Cardinals existence.
Would it be nice? Of Course. ID take a V over SF moreso anyday, but itd be awesome stickin to Tom regardless.
Not to be a downer, but Im not really even concerned with this game. Im already looking forward to next week, thats how sure I am this game is already decided.
Cards win this. Afterwards it's blamed on bad refs.
I think there's only one chance we even make this game close, and that's if we hit Brady early and often and consistently all game long. The one thing that gives me hope is that I think Seattle had an advantage over NE against our Blitzes. I think their Oline is better than the Patriots (Okung notwithstanding, he was horrible) and I think Wilson being able to move around saved probably 3 to 5 sacks. Brady is the opposite of mobile (but makes up for it in pre-snap reads and a quick release).
The only reason NE's oline looked competent last week was because they were 1) playing the Titans and 2) balanced on offense with their new-found running game. I honestly believe their oline may be as bad as ours (before Levi got injured I said it was worse). Their guard Dan Connolly is also out with a concussion and I expect Dockett to feast on his backup and create even more havoc than he did against Seattle.
If we're able to do that and force them to change their schemes so that even just 1 of their awesome TE's has to stay in to block (or even help chip before running his route), then that's a win for Horton and for us. If it goes even better than that, and we're hitting Brady alot and forcing him to throw a lot of short stuff, then I think we could actually win.
the more we feed the Bean and RWill and LSH successfully the less Brady is on the field and the fresher our fdefense is.
If we win this Sunday, I won't post again until our bye week.
If there ever was a reason for the Cards to win, this is it.
I think we are totally going to win.
Discuss. Or don't. Whichever, I still think there's something in the air here.
Damn the torpedos.

I said USC was going to jack stomp Stanford last night... I'm done predicting anything about anything anymore!!
Thesmel just like a blind squirrel...WE have the talent to win- If we would just stay patient and diciplined like the Patriots are. I think it is our coaches fault- but I also think they have been correcting it- But they are not all in.
WE have more potential playmakers - we don't need to ride just one- But our offense is built around Fitz- everything leans toward getting Fitz the ball - taking away a little or a lot from other units.
Our Defense has playmakers but the play has to come naturally as the Patriots reduce our big play oppurtunities. Seize the day.
