I do know the difference between flaming and genuine disagreement.
I genuinely disagree with this statement.
I do know the difference between flaming and genuine disagreement.
I will say again, if you do not wish to read my posts, then put me on ignore. Do not continue to use snide one liners to say things that I did not say or intend. If you wish to disagree with me, please do so, and state why you feel that way. I will be happy to reply within reason.
In this instance, you posted this reply only five minutes after my post. It was kind of obvious that you had been waiting to do so, and that you relished the opportunity to do what you did. Right down to the eye rolling.
And, by the way, I do know the difference between flaming and genuine disagreement.
lol I do sit here and refresh all day seeking new posts but never specifically waiting for someone to reply to someone just so I can flame it - that would be rather pathetic.
i'd be terrified to see the actual combined hours I've wasted on this board.
I hear you all but-----you have no idea just how lame some of you are beginning to sound. I'll not name anyone, but there are about 7-8 regulars who have had nothing good to say about this franchise, this team, this off-season, this front office, this ownership, this coaching staff, for the last 2 years or better.
Some of you have called me out to eat crow because there was 'no way' that the Cards could muster a defense that could stop the run with the roster that Keim had provided for BA to work with. After two games the Cards lead the NFC and rank third in the entire League in stopping the run. I said they would, and they have thus far delivered. They only look to get better as the season goes on, as at some point D-Wash will return and both Karlos Dansby and Greg Minter will be worked into the mix a little differently.
Some of you have said that we will know more about how this team is after they play other teams in pre-season. We went 3-1. Some said we can't know until the regular season starts. Well, we lost one we really should have won on the road, and won one at home after our offense scored 9 points in the 2nd half while our defense gave up none. We are currently tied with SF, and St. L. after two games, just one game back of Seattle. Yes, it's only two games, BUT:
We have a running game.
We have a passing game.
We can stop the run.
While we give up yards, we don't give up a lot of passing scores.
BEST OF ALL:
After each of the steps along the way, our coaching staff has corrected the problems that occurred in the previous game, (something that almost NEVER happened under the previous staff).
Now-----some of you are saying that we need to go the entire season before we can say that change has occurred. BALONEY !!!!! As I said before, this change is happening as we speak, and there is nothing you can do about it. You might as well come along for the ride. It is surely more damned fun than constantly ragging on your own team just so you can bitch. Things are going to get a whole lot better here before they get worse than what we had !!!!!!!! You can take that to the bank !!!!!

Hes busy celebrating with the patriots.Mulli would disagree with you. He loves to do that. Funny how he disappears once the season starts.
Or it could mean that we have FOX's worst announcing crew and they don't take notes when Arians says that he wants to run "Power" the play, not a "power running game" that is the basis for the offense.
Nothing has changed. Outside of 2 glorious seasons we have been having the same conversation about this team for 25 years with all of the exact same talking points. It is the same stinking team year after year after year after year.
or maybe they're changing a tiny bit.
who knows with this team. all I know is that I've had an incredibly tough week and they let me end it with a smile on my face. I'll take that W, even if it was incredibly ugly!
