I'm sober too and it is not "lol". :bang:

En, I thrash about during the game, but once it's over I recognize it's a game and I still have to wake up tomorrow and go to a good job and enjoy the rest of my life. And wish that Grimm gets fired.

Interestingly he stopped texting me and the brother-who-shall-not-post near the end of the game.

phone ran out of juice and had to deal with a rat and two hysterical women when i got home.

Cbs horrible pp is not that good
lenon slow
Olbs cant cover or get pressure

Horton has to rush 5 or 6 every play to cover the deficiencies
Knee Jerk reaction...

The defense is changed from top 3 to top 10 because Dockett is out and it really does change the whole dynamic of the defense.

That being said, when our defense is playing, "bad" they are giving up a whopping 19 points per game! Yep, not that talented.

This game was squarely on the Offense, specifically the Offensive Line who cant pass pro and most certainly cannont run block.

PP looks like he can't cover, even against the OK recievers. Teams keep picking on him like he ain't nothing, and so far, they are right.

Yes, same goes here. I was kidding. I have two kids that I have to stay respectable around. It is fun to bluster about though.

PP has been one of the best corners in the NFL this year, quit being crazy.

He didn't get lit up by Hartline. Here is what he gave up against Miami:
Last play of the first quarter; Peterson allows 12 yards on a comeback route by Hartline.

13:02 left in the 3rd Quarter, Peterson allows 30 yards on what looks a bit like a broken play.

9:41 left in the 3rd Quarter, Peterson allows 17 yards on a deep dig by Davonne Bess.

The 30 yarder was pretty good coverage, but the throw was perfect.
He wasn't great by any means, but it's not like he got lit up..

Now tonight, sure, that play by Amendola on the first drive was ridiculous. If he was paying attention to the ball, that's an easy INT. Idk what it is with our corners and not looking back sometimes.

He had 7 completions for the entire game! A 33% completion percentage. Thats "at will?"

The D held them to 131 yards passing, held them to 3.5 yards per carry on the ground, 242 total yards, StL went 4-14 on 3rd downs...

The defense was stellar tonight. Even with giving up a couple bad plays early.

LOL!!!! The defense was the only reason the Cards didn't get blown out last night. The held the Pats to 19 points and the Eagles to 6. What is this thread some kind of a sick effing joke?

If our defense isn't talented then there's only 4-5 talented defenses in the league. Our D is constantly dealing with no rest and bad field position. If we had this defense a few years back we'd have a championship(s).

I don't agree with the premise of this thread but this excuse doesn't hold water for the Rams opening drive and much of the game last week. There is definitely something wrong when you get scored on in the manner we did both of these last two games. Way too much cushion.

True but it's relatively minor, that pass he caught was a fluke all the way around, the coverage was bad but he heaved that ball and it was a fluke, a pure fluke.

I would agree that the d has not been as good as we have gotten used to lately. But to say not talented is ********.

Last week it was too many yards given up & a win. Yet the defense sucked

This week it is not enough turnovers yet held the offense to a low total yards & a loss. Yet they suck.

These guys don't have a leg to stand on.

And maybe juuust maybe some posters were right about the defense playing well last week.

And I will say it again this week. This defense is good and is playing well.

We got beat on special teams and our offense was so bad that I have to read the dictionary for a day or so to find the right word to describe what ever the hell that was last night
