No complaints but do agree we need to run in the red zone. I don't believe Johnson was available for one of the series. Still wish we had better depth at RB. Murray doesn't throw the fade very well either.
#11 was getting his right arm held on one of those also lol, as was Jones by their LT but no call.

I think inside the 10 yard line it might benefit us to go 2 wide, 2 te and rb.

Te’s could stay in for protection or block then release or run block.
Loved the look (formation) during our first drive of the 2nd half. Clay & Williams at the same time. I think Clay made the reception. May have been the 2nd drive of the half? Ended up with a FG.

No by team, we mean team. Playcalling, especially in the red zone, needs to improve. The lines have been inconsistent, dj needs to run stronger, our secondary needs to know what a te is and learn to cover them, etc

Lots of problems but that is expected of a rebuilding team. One player doesn't win or lose a game.
In fairness to Vance...his defense didn't cover TEs last year either. It might just be where he is willing to give up plays. You can't cover everything at the NFL level.

We are light years better than last year which I am very happy to see. I don't know how long we can hold onto Vance, but he is at least a league average DC so far.

I know we scored the rushing TD out of the shotgun but I agree with you, have to run the ball a little more. When at the 1-3 yd line, go under center & pound the ball in.
Rushing out of the shotgun in the red zone is analytically the right move.

In today’s nfl I don’t think we are going to see GREAT defenses anymore. A good defense will be a blessing. The defense I would grade s little bit below good but it hasn’t been terrible and I don’t think these 2 games can be pinned on the defense.

I like our chances running out of spread formations with our offensive line vs them trying to move vs a goal line front. Neitehr Shipley or Pugh are considered maulers inside.
I just think we have a better chance of scoring the TD by powering it in from the 1 yd line. Put a TE in motion & he sets the edge blocking when the ball is snapped.

The defense has held up by today's standards, I totally agree. VJ has done an incredible job so far. If KM hits #11 in the chest instead of the right shoulder in the end zone.............? We win the game. DJ turns right & dives into the end zone instead of running out at the half yd line..............? We win the game. Not on the defense so far.

Considering our top two corners have been, I agree.

Man I wish we could stop another teams TE though slan. That's two games in a row that we have been lit up.

Highly doubt we see a tougher environment to play in than today, rest of the season. Maybe in New Orleans at MB Superdome but that's it. This team competed when everyone thought they would get blowed out. No team on our schedule scares me after today. On a sidenote: when we get our starting CB's back, one of our current starters needs to have his sole responsibility be................cover the TE no matter what lol.
Seattle is supposed to be tough for a road team to play in.

I'm excited but feel guilty feeling that way about a team who just lost.

It's been said that KM will have to get comfortable keeping up with the speed of the pro game. (He's not all that bad already but may need to review a few games' worth of game-footage to make the leap he needs to make.

In other words: he got outplayed by Lamar Jackson, but playing to that level should be where he needs to go.

Ya boy Kirk Cousins

You already know what I’m about to say

Looks....

Haha, not good at all. You're right on this one. I mean, not only in that he would have been a bad choice here. But overall. I do wonder how he would have done under Shurmur and not some mediocre offensive coaches, but we'll never know.

We will compete in the next 3. Panthers, Shehawks & Bengals. Ironically, I will be at 2 of the 3. Flying out to the game against the shehawks & driving to the game in Cincinnati, only a 1.5 hr drive from Louisville.
We always play the Seahawks hard.

We'll see!
