Never knew they were brothers. My god, why could Thomas run like his brother? We'd have been set at Rb for all these years. :thud:

You know if you had your eyes open you would have known that. :D

They're very similar players, Julius is in a better situation playing for Parcells but they're similar, Thomas to me always showed a nose for the endzone as a Card, and Julius seems to really have that too.

Which one? The one behind him? I remember him more of actually turning and running away from defenders. To get to OUR endzone he would have to run at the defenders. ;)

They look a lot alike when they run the ball Russ. You rright TJ did have a nose for the endzone.

He had 3-4 runs in his Card career where he made one of those improbably Emmitt TD's with 2nd and 3rd effort. Early in his career he went down way too easily, and he still fumbles too much, but he's pretty effective in the redzone. He's a better redzone runner than Shipp career wise, he scores about every 5th carry in the redzone.

He's not a great player but neither is Julius yet. Unfortunately they both had a lot of maturity issues too when they were younger.

Wow thats a long article. I felt like I was reading a book. Good stuff though. Thomas had a huge game for the Bears. Its amazing what he can do with some blocking. Him and JJ are simular runners, yet seem to have different strengths. Though if anyone watched TJ today, you would know hes also a lot better when he gets to carry the ball early and often. I have noticed this throughout his time with the Bears, seems like they abandon the running game to soon in most games.

Lets see if he can stay consistent. Wonder where he ends up next season with Benson signed? Though Benson struggled with the 16 carries he had for 49 today, or just didnt look as good as TJ.

I watched much of the Bears game yesterday and Thomas Jones was running hard. He had two TD's when I quit watching. Yes give a guy like T. Jones a good OL and he will get you some yards.
